what it was like in CANADA!

    MK

It was my dream to pursue higher education from Canada and my interest was already in Business Administration. I researched the Best universities and chosen University College of the North out of them. I had submitted an Application fee of nearly $150 for admission and all the necessary documents. I had applied online for the university and had applied for the visa early, as it is very important.

    Course Curriculum :

The course of Bachelors of Business Administration is diverse. It delivered all the skills, both focusing equally on the theory and practical part. The college also provides internship and training facilities. The subjects which I studied during the course till now include financial management, accountancy, marketing, management ethics, and basics of mathematics and advanced economies. The course gives an in-depth knowledge of every topic.

    Exams :

I had undertaken the IELTS exam for English proficiency, in which I managed to secure 7 bands. Along with that my GPA of 9 helped me a lot to get through the admission process. I had always wanted to pursue Business Administration. Along with that, I had submitted my academic proficiency documents, financial support documents and copy of my passport.

    Internship :

My university provides internship opportunities and training, in collaboration with various companies and industries. They also update us through emails and website portal regarding job opportunities in the top and prestigious companies. The starting pay packages are from $55,000 per annum.

    Placement :

Many companies visit the university every semester. They provide internship and job opportunities. Some of them offer a stipend too. Nearly 80% of students get placed every year with the top recruiters.

    Events :

My university has over 30 student clubs and organizations. Many fests are organized throughout the year. It includes tech-fest, youth festivals, and many other competitive sports and extra-curricular activities.

    Fees :

The tuition fees for my course was nearly $60,000 yearly, with $220 credit hour fees. It also includes membership fees and exam fees. The universities do not offer any kind of scholarship for international students. I had sufficient funds, you can also take help of educational loans.

    Faculty :

The professors and other supporting staff are very supportive and inculcate the necessary skills in students. They also publish journals and help us through training and internship. My teachers are experts in their fields. They also train students for industry-level work and help in every way they can.

    Hostel :

Residence facilities are available at both campuses in Thompson and The Pas. My university also offers family housing. I stayed off-campus and has an expense of nearly $10,000 per year. The traveling expenses are cheap and you have to pay for food and laundry separately.
