My time at Northern Lights College

I was looking for that covers the basics of business management but at a low cost in less duration of time than a B.B.A or MBA. I came to know about this college on the internet. I applied to it through an online application form. The cost of the application form is around $100.

    Course Curriculum :

The Advanced Certificate course in Management is designed for current managers, volunteers and students who are interested in developing their leadership skills while they are working. The course focuses on management and marketing as well. It also covers tactics to improve production as well.

    Exams :

The main exams that I have given are high school exams and TOEFL. I cleared my high school from India with a GPA of 8.2 on a scale of 10 apart from that I have scored marks of 68 in my TOEFL. The college also asked for a LOR and previous high school results as well.

    Placement :

The course is designed for the ones who are already working but the course will surely help increase your payment. Around 65 % of students doing the course said that there was an increment in pay and efficiency within 6 months.

    Events :

Though I haven't stayed much in college and it was just one year yet there was lots of fun especially during cultural festivals and different kinds of parties that were organized by the college. The college also provides a good infrastructure for sports as well.

    Fees :

The fee depends on the type of certificate that the candidate chooses to take. For the advanced certificate course, the fee is around $2500. The fee is quite justified keeping in mind the content it delivers. Also, there are options to avail financial benefits from the college if certain condition is fulfilled.

    Faculty :

The faculties of the college provide all the necessary help and guidance that a student requires. Apart from that, the professors give a lot of emphasis on practical learning and implementation of concepts.

    Hostel :

I have mostly stayed in the off-campus residence. The off-campus housing is well furnished and all the basic amenities are provided. The cost varies from house to house. On average the cost is around $400 per year on rent and food.
