Why I love Canadian Mennonite University

    7.7 /10

I have my uncle's house in Winnipeg and he suggested to me about the college. He also presented me with the admission details and other details from the college. I have applied to the college online by filling up the application form that costs around $150. Further details were mailed to my email by the college authority.

    Course Curriculum :

The student can choose to do the course online or on campus. The main focus of the course is the increase of sales and production. Concepts of marketing are also dealt with in the course. Management and administration are also covered in the course as well.

    Exams :

I have completed by B.BA course from India with a GPA of 9.2 on a scale of 10. I have given GMAT as well, in which I had 590. For any college in Canada, qualifying IELTS or TOEFL are very important. I have given TOEFL where I scored 80. There is a need to submit LOR from my previous university and also a transcript as well.

    Placement :

The placement is great no doubt about that. During my time I was able to build a lot of connection and network as well. Around 98 % got placed in on-campus placement. The rest students got from the off-campus drive. Basically, the skill learned during the course is invaluable in the job market.

    Events :

The main focus of the event is on the cultural festival of the college apart from that Christmas and other occasions are celebrated in the college. Many party nights are also held in the college. Different kinds of sports events are also played in college.

    Fees :

The fee for one year of the course is $12,000 (only the tuition fee, no other cost is included in it). It is actually cheaper than most of the MBA and the content provided also justifies the cost. Different other financial aids are from the government and as well as from the college as well.

    Faculty :

The faculties provide very in-depth business analysis and case studies as well. Analyzing business gives a very good insight into how things work in real life. The faculties teach in very small classrooms and focus on all the students.

    Hostel :

I have mainly stayed in off-campus because I also have my uncle's house nearby. Moreover, I found the on-campus residence a bit expensive. The room rent for off-campus residence is around $300 per month. Other expenses costs around $700 per month which includes food, transportation and basic needs.
