    ST
    7.0 /10

I was always very interested to learn about cinematography and film direction, that is why I chose this course because it covers the basics of cinematography and film. I found the college while surfing on the internet and applied to it online as well. The application fee is $85.

    Course Curriculum :

The course, initially, contains the all the basic details of frame setting, motion scene and story telling. Then it covers the details about cinematography, details about a cinematographer and also it covers a lots of aspects of direction.

    Exams :

The exams I took were my high school exams, TOEFL and an admission test in the college. I performed well in all the exams. I completed high school with a GPA of 9.2 on a scale of 10 in the arts stream. I have also done well in the TOEFL, in which I managed the score of 99 and in the admission test, the SAT, I scored 1209.

    Placement :

The placement scenario is decent. The students during their college years start working in short films and documentary and after completion gets contracts for big pictures. The placement percentage is 75% in this course.

    Events :

The main events covered in the college are cultural festival, film making competition and dance and music competition. There are different kinds of art exhibitions and sports competitions as well.

    Fees :

The fee for the two-year diploma course without the cost of gears is $40,000. There is a lot of traveling included in the course and the content of the course is also pretty detailed so I think the course is a good value for the money. There are financial aids available from the government as well.

    Faculty :

The faculty of the college are really trained professionals. They have a very good knowledge of the techniques and tricks. I lot of effort is put on the implementation aspects of the knowledge. The professors provide a lot of guidance as well to the students who approach them.

    Hostel :

I have stayed in the off-campus residence. It is much cheaper and I feel convenient than an on-campus residence. The room rent in a month is $ 400 and along with that, another six hundred is needed for food and other expenditure as well.
