Cegep Andre (Laurendeau)
My time at Cegep Andre (Laurendeau)
I found this college through alumni meet at my school during my high school years. After graduating my high school I decided to join the business administration course because of the market demand and the placement offered by the course. I applied to the course online with an application fee of $85.
The course is based mainly on the administration and management of the business. A lot of techniques and case studies are given to understand the basic ways of administration very well. It also has a slight touch of marketing and business relation concepts as well.
The exams given by me are my high school final exam and the exam of TOEFL to certify my English. I secured a GPA of 9.2 on a scale of 10 in my high school final exam and marks of 70 on my TOEFL exam. I have also taken part in many national level examinations and competitions which also played a very important role.
The fee for the first year of the course is around $10,000 while in the second year of the course it is around $12,000 and in the third year, it is around $13000. These prices does not include books in them. The college also provides a lot o other kinds of scholarship and financial aids as well.
The college provides residence facilities on the campus which provides all the basic amenities and a good standard of living to the students. The cost of room rent and food expenses in a year is around $12000 depending on the type of room selected and the meal plan taken.
The job opportunities are pretty good. The placement percentage of the student in my batch was around 90-95 % which is very good statistics. The highest package received from on-campus placement is around $80,000.
Events include different convocation ceremony four times a year. There are a lot of clubs in the college like dancing club singing club and many more which keeps on organizing different seminars and events. There are basketball and volleyball competitions every year in the college.
Monthly Expense : $500 - $1500
