At Glendon, innovation, open pedagogy, and entrepreneurship are at the forefront of its vision to prepare students to acquire competencies for the future of work, to contribute to knowledge creation, and to have an impact on the York University community and the wider world. After securing a GPA of 8, I had applied to the university through a free online application form.

    Course Curriculum :

Mathematics is the study of the various branches of pure and applied math. Given its almost unlimited applications to the real world, mathematics is an essential ingredient of general education. A mathematics degree can lead to work as a business analyst, statistician, researcher, or educator. The rigorous training I received in all mathematics courses enabled me to pursue a career of my choice in the public or private sector or to continue education on a graduate level.

    Exams :

I wanted to gain the opportunity to demonstrate a commitment to have opportunities to cultivate my passion and take initiatives from ideation to execution. I was keen to develop a well-rounded academic base, an area of academic focus, and a set of skills including critical thinking, research, and communications which are among the most sought-after skills in the job market today. I had to submit my IELTS score of 8 and an SAT exam score of 1360. The documents required for my admission were my official transcripts, letters of recommendation, and a financial affidavit.

    Placement :

Glendon provided me with a natural setting in which I was exposed, on a daily basis, to various cultures. Being at Glendon has really fired up the travel bug in me. Working at an international school provides me with the opportunity to be reminded of the beauty of diversity and to truly experience different ways of thinking and living. My university provided me with the opportunity for self-development and career enhancement through career fairs, and workshops.

    Events :

Along with a dynamic, exciting atmosphere, the campus is a self-contained community with extensive facilities including restaurants, a shopping mall, a medical clinic, a dental clinic, an art gallery, and an astronomical observatory. As a Glendonite, I benefit from the classes, services, libraries, and numerous other resources available on both campuses by taking the free inter-campus shuttle.

    Fees :

My tuition and fees expenses were around $30,000. The books and supplies cost was around $1500. Scholarships and awards for international students are limited and you should be prepared to support yourself throughout your studies at York. I had applied for the Glendon International Scholarship that was granted on the basis of percentile and covered around $5000 of my expenses.

    Faculty :

Students participating in the program will have access to mentorship and the appropriate tools and facilities on campus: classrooms for brainstorming and making plans; conference rooms for meeting with external partners; a lab for creative pursuits using high-tech software; a workshop for hands-on projects; and 3D printers for prototyping. Small classes and a strong sense of community are key factors in our success. The student-faculty ratio at my university was 9:1.

    Hostel :

My room and board expenses were around $9,000, along with a meal plan costing me around $5000. Living on-campus provides convenient access to classes, support networks, services, and campus activities. Residence also provides you with the opportunity to build lasting friendships.
