Internships Opportunities :
No campus for our field. I had done my dissertation from Bhabha atomic research center Mumbai. That is like internship. Totally a laboratory practicsl experience based on actual research in biotech and pharma companies.
Remarks :
Good thing about college is dedication of professors and management on laboratory practicals. Providing each and every facilities including very costly instrumentation to make us expertised in the field. As such nothing bad butvwe were shifted to new premises so need to adjust for sometime
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No loan facility from college but i availed from bank. Taken education loan from Union bank of india.
Exam Structure :
Yes studies were carried on serious note. Hectic day whuch includes theory classes follwed by laboratory practicals.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure feasible.In total Rs. 70000 for college and 36000 for the hostel (private). College hostels were already full at the time of our admissions.
Entrance Preview :
Given written enterance exam of the BIMR College of life Sciences. Good practicals in biochemistry field in comparison to other colleges in the city including university too
College Events :
Cultural events were not their but we do had freshers party and farewell party too. These were arranged bybstudents with the hrlp of faculty members in good locations in the city.
Hostel Facilities :
I was in private hostel nd will rate 10/10 for the atmosphere, food. Rooms were sharing. Need to pay 2400/ month overall including mess charges.
Campus Life :
Life was goid. More busy in laboratory practicals. that part really contributed to my carrier as being a Senior research scientist in only 6 years of experience in research which is very hard to get.
Alumni/Alumna :
Seniors were goid but super seniors were gem as a person nd too helping. They helped in giving all the study matetials and some books too. For our field need to refer many books for single topic. So accumulated notes were really a great help.
Faculty :
Faculty was really good. Some of the professors are gold medalist in their respective subjects and one of them was highly experienced scientist which contributed a lotbin our studies.
Placement Experience :
Job opportunities torally depends on your deep knowledge of the field and Dissertation in final semester. Till our year of pasding no campus were their in college. Later on things were different for other people
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course is followed as per jiwaji university normes. Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Every field have detailed subjects Like biochemistry includes Tools and techniques, cell biology, immunology, enzymology, Nutritional & clinical biochemistry, recombinant DNA technology, plant biology.
