IGIMS MD & MS Admission 2020

The admission to MD and MS courses for IGIMS is done through PGMAC. Candidates have to first qualify the NEET PG or NEET MDS with appropriate marks before applying for the counseling.

Admission Procedure:

  • Candidates interested in taking admission in MD and MS courses offered by IGIMShave to first qualify the NEET PG examination.
  • Students who have qualified the entrance test with appropriate marks can register for PGMAC.
  • To register, candidates can go to the BCECE Board official website and fill up the online application form.
  • Candidates will have to pay the registration fee of INR 2200 using an online payment method or a Bank Challan.
  • Candidates will then have to fill up the application form with all their Personal Details and Educational Details.
  • After completely filling up the application form. Candidates have to download a copy of the application form.
  • On the date of the Counseling, candidates will have to carry their application form with themselves for verification.

IGIMS MBBS Admission 2020

IGIMS offers 5 ½ years MBBS course for Under Graduates. The admission to MBBS offered by IGIMS is done on the basis of NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) scores. Students can apply for NEET on the exam’s official website.


  • Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology.
  • Students should have passed the examination with minimum marks of 50% of general category and 45% for reserved candidates.

Application Procedure:

  • Students can apply for NEET online on the official exam website.
  • Students will have to log in and fill in the online application form.
  • Students should fill in the application form carefully following all the regulations properly.
  • After successfully submitting the application form, students have to appear for the entrance exam.
  • Only after successfully qualifying the test, the students will be able to apply for admission to IGIMS.

Hi Devanand, admission to P.hD is done in three-stage performance evaluation as explained below:

  • Stage I: 30 Marks (30 MCQs of 1 Mark each) Aptitude related MCQs covering English (written and verbal skills), Biostatistics, Research Methodology, Cell Biology, Lab Technology etc.
  • Stage II: 40 Marks (40 MCQs of 1 Mark each) Subject related theory based comprising Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of MD/MS/MDS/M.Sc. Entrance level. Total Marks: 70 (30+40) - Stage I & II, Total Duration: 90 Minutes - Stage I & II
  • Stage III: Out of the candidates who secured 50 percent or above in the written test (Stage-I & II plus the special weightage), candidates 3 times the number of seats advertised will be called for departmental clinical/practical/lab based assessment (carrying 20 marks).
