Kalinga Institute of Medical Science Bhubaneswar Admissions

Admission is entrance based or merit-based, applications for which are available online. MBBS admission is based on the NEET UG exam plus 10+2 scores in PCB. Admissions to MD and MS are based on NEET PG, and admissions to M.Ch and D.M are on the basis of NEET SS. Diploma or Fellowship admissions are based on entrance conducted by the college, along with scores obtained in MBBS.

How to apply?

The steps to apply for NEET-UG are:

  1. Go to the official NTA website and click on New Registration. Read the guidelines and then click on “Proceed to Application.”
  2. Fill up the form and upload the required signature and photographs. 
  3. Pay the registration fee.
  4. Print the final page after confirmation. 

The steps to apply to NEET PG are as follows: 

  1. Visit the official website nbe.edu.in. Select NEET-PG, and click on Proceed to Application. Fill in the required details. 
  2. On receiving the application number and password, log in and fill in the details. 
  3. Upload the required documents and images. 
  4. Choose the appropriate exam location, exam test center and the preferred date and time. 
  5. Pay the application fee via debit card/credit card/ net banking/ e-wallet.

For Fellowship or Diploma, follow these steps: 

  1. Go to the official college website. Under the Academics tab, click on Diploma and Fellowship > Application form. 
  2. Download and fill the form. 
  3. Send the application as well as your CV to the following email ID: sujit.pradhan@kims.ac.in. 
  4. Application fees (INR 100/- ) & Examination fees ( INR 1000/- ) to be deposited in the account section KIMS. The money receipt should be produced along with the application form.

Ans. The exam will consist of 50 MCQs. The MCQ will have “One Correct option”. There shall be no Negative Marking. Subjects/ Questions for the written test shall be from Critical Care Medicine. Questions regarding ethics, statistics, etc. may also be asked.
