MBBS is a cream course for being a Doctor. So I choose it as my dream course. The number of Faculties is about 250 including professors, Ass. Prof., Senior residents, etc. The number of students is around 1250 in MBBS For details visit (mkcgmch.org/staffs/teaching) The teaching method is mainly based on smart classroom models and practical orienteering. The college conducts 3 internals and 1 Professional university examination per year. Several Part completion tests are also taken. Difficulties of questions are appreciable. Never easy to pass without enormous knowledge.
It is very much feasible as it is an government college. Everything is nearly affordable and inexpensive in the city. And the college fees is very affordable as compared to any other medical colleges. At the same time other expenses are very less in the college.
Excellent learning imparted. A very good institution for fulfilling all your dreams of becoming a doctor. It has a very beautiful huge and peaceful campus which is safe as well. Seniors are very helpful and supportive. Overall it is an life long experience and learning.
1st year 16500, 2nd year 16500, 3rd Year 10000, 4th year 10000, Final Year 5000, every year the hostel fees used to be 5000/- at the end of Final year we used to do our internship where they used to pay us 15000/- pm, A total of 180000 in a year. Govt used to give a CAFAS Scholarship of a aggregate of 50000 in 5 years. So you can Say we used to study by take money from Govt. ha ha. But We used spent a lot on Instruments and Books, The cost used to be very high. Some were like 30000.
Good hands on. not an institution for Reasearch purpose. but good hands on Clinically. Every year this college produces a lot of national level Doctors and Central Institute PGs and PG toppers. A Lot of Studious atmosphere is the best part of my college life.
Fee structure wise this college was best.as per state govt rule this college feea in 3 year is about 20,000, bt this same course in pvt college os neer about 2lakhs for only reading, bt this govt medical collegee offer you only 19 k for this course. And exam fees also include

Since it is a govt college, fees are low. Generally around 20, 000-30, 000 per annum with hostel fees of 10, 000 per annum. Apart from these other occasional expenses may come to 5000-10, 000 per month. Berhampur has very low cost of living.

Mkcg medical college and hospital is a government run hospital and college. Since government bears most of the fees. We need to give less amount as fees as compared to other private colleges. So it's feasible.
Yes, the curriculum is lengthy and vast. so many things to study and remember. Not everyone can get into this. Exam occurs basically as a theory and a practical exam. You need to score atleast 50% marks to pass in this curriculum.

The course curriculum for MBBS is very vast. You cannot skip anything . U have 2 semesters each year. And total of 4 Professional MBBS exams in the duration of 4.5 years.You have to study 19 different subjects.

The course is better the course is for 3years and you have to appear one exam every year on the 1st exam the full mark is 300 out of which you have to score 150 to pass the exam and the 2nd is 300 and the 3rd is 400 out of which you have to score a 50% Mark to pass out the exam.

I applied for 3 top MBBS colleges in Odisha those are SCB MCH, MKCG MCH & VIMSAR. According to my NEET score of 620 and State rank of 315, I got MKCG MCH. The only quota I had to apply was the State quota. MBBS admission has minimum criteria of age as 18 years and no maximum age limit. The minimum mark system is not there but seats are allotted as per the ALL ODISHA RANK. ADMISSION PROCESS: On OJEE website ( www.ojee.nic.in ) we had to register within a limited time interval of days. Payment of Rs.1000 is done for this. Then I got allotted to MKCG MCH.
