"It's tedious but it has to be like that since it's medical science. We have annual exams. The course is divided into 9 semesters and 4 professional exams. After the 9 semesters we have 1 year of internship. Each semester has a percentage pattern of marking students. There's no GPA pattern."

Fees Review

"Feasible. The annual fee is subsidized by the Government and us around 2500 per annum for the students. Apart from that all the other facilities are also very feasible yet top notch and affordable for every student."   Read More

"It has very good course curriculum for MD Pediatrics. There were 10 wards with separate sub specialty including intensive care unit, neonatal intensive care unit, hemato-oncology, respiratory, and pediatric emergency. We were posted in each ward by rotation."

Fees Review

"When I entered Maulana Azad Medical College in 2003, the fee was very nominal. It was approximately Rupees five hundreds only for each semester. The fee was affordable by all students even if they are from poor family. Even, hostel charges were very minimal."   Read More

Fees -

Honest review mbbs from mamc

Fees -

It is very feasible. Annual fees is 4000 and examination fees is 2000. Thus like any other government medical college, government gives a subsidy of 6 lakh rs per student per annum due to which the fees is pretty feasible.

Course Curriculum -
10 /10

The curriculum is as per the guidelines of MCI. It is the standard curriculum with the listed subjects. 35% marks in Internals and 75% attendance is required to be eligible for end year exams wherein you need a cumulative score of 50% plus (including Internals) to pass. Exams are professional wise not semester wise. If you fail a semester exam there is no supple or year back.

Best college

Fees -

It is quite reasonable as you have to pay only Rs.2045 per year, but initially you have to pay a security amount of Rs. 2000, so the total fees of MBBS in this institute is around Rs. 11,000 for the whole year. It's quite reasonable when compared to other colleges which are run privately, who take around Rs. 7,00,000 per annum and the total fees becomes around 40,00,000 for 5.5 years of MBBS

Course Curriculum -
10 /10

I am here studying MBBS and I must say nothing will be better than this college MAMC Provides students a best faculty and I think no student can feel any difficulties here very good education culture here.

Facts about MAMC

Fees -

Feasible 2k for a year and hostel accommodation for 6k all you have to pay is for the food rest all is very cheap here being one of the oldest medical College of the country. And even food is also very cheap over here.

Course Curriculum -
8 /10

Its very well structured and exams are pretty tough.you have to be regular in your studies for clearing all the exams especially surgery. You will have regular exams apart from the semester exams that will occur twice a year.

Mixed feelings towards my college not too good not too bad

Fees -

Yeah it feasible because it is India government medical College so fee structure is very feasible when I admitted I gave them 11455 India. Rupee in which 9000 is security deposit and rest of it is fee per annum

Course Curriculum -
9 /10

As it is MBBS so course size is extremely large there are many discipline study arranged semester wise and exam and test are too frequent like weekly test and main exam is held at end of every semester

If you have an interest in understanding what happens inside you and what happens in other people with diseases or disease, it's the course to go for. It is solely based on practical learning and hence a lot of emphasis is laid on it. ICMR can be done but it is done with the government not with the medical institute.

Fees -

Very nominal. Was about 4000 per year in our days. This is simply a token given the great lab, academic, and all other facilities provided by the college. Exam fees was also a mere token and easily affordable by all strata of the society

Course Curriculum -
9 /10

Divided into three parts, each part had several subjects and vast course for each. It was almost incompletable. Often required cramming for many things. Making notes during class was a race and a necessity.
