Minimum qualification for professors here is at least 5 years of practicing experience. Most professors have more than 10 years of experience, and there are some who have even more than 15! Arguably the best homeopathic college in Delhi, and among the top 4 in India. But Canteen facility can be improved.
The admission procedure for Nehru Homeopathic Medical College (NHMC) is as simple as ABC. If your name crops up on the list and you wish to seal your admission you just need to go to the college (before the date slips away), deposit the neces...
The college is highly reasonable – the tuition fee structure is about Rs.4000 for the first year, and just Rs.1000 for subsequent years. For a medical degree one can easily afford this much .All the facilities in the institution are nearly free of cost to the public.
This course is designed to produce such professional practitioner who will be able to treat patients with the holistic method and take care of them with the homoeopathic medicines. This course will enable students to work as a Doctor, Physician and Medical Officer.
No scholarship but the fee structure is very reasonable (ie. Rs.4000 for the first year, and just Rs.1000 ) so no scholarship would be needed too...
No placement is provided by the college.one has to find it himself . One who is aspiring for govt job has to apply for the same while one who wants to do practice can do so . In a govt service salary ranges from. 60k to 1lakh but in private practice sky is the limit.
I was selected on basis of 12th marks but now a days selection is based on marks in AIPMT also there is a proposal of AAYUSH taking a separate test. Atleast qualifying marks are required to get admission. Nehru Homeopathic Medical College (NHMC) is the best college in Homoeopathy ..Main reason why anyone opts for this college.
Students generally tend to carry their lunch from home, unless they want to trust their lives with the hospital canteen. Which, by the way, serves no food – only juices but yes its in Defence Colony market, where you can find coffee shops, high-end restaurants as well as cheap eateries.

People come here from all parts of the country, though it must be noted that at least 60% of students are previously MBBS-aspirants. You’ll find people from all sorts of socio-economic backgrounds here, but the majority will, more often than not, be down to earth, simple boys and girls. Extracurricular activities though not much focused are still there

I got admission thourough delhi university merit list. But now one can get admission only thourough ayush neet exam. And there is also 85% quota for delhi students. So one should focus on ayush neet eamination to get admission.
Every thing has its pro n cons Positive things like studies infrastructure events all are good Negative is our college doesn’t have hostel facility for undergraduate students Well postgraduate students are provided with hostel only for first year but for next two years they have to live their own
There’s NEET medical entrance exam conducted every year. Then according to marks and all India rank merit list is prepared by which one can get admission in the medical college and seat is allotted on the basis of category wise merit list

The college infrastructure is a little bit too old and doesn't give a good impression at the first sight to freshers even myself when I joined but a good place to gain knowledge and many successful homeopaths came out from our college only.
Entrance Exam, Merit List.
Homeopathy as a field is vry intresting and this college is one of the topmost to teach homeopathy all over india .
I wanted to learn homeopathic medical sciences and this college was goverment affiliated and one of the topmost all over india. Homeopathy as a science teaches us to treat patients with a more simpler and harmonious method rather than crude allopathic measures which led me to opt for this college.
the college library is so nice. you will find many interesting books related to the course. there is no canteen facility you have to carry your launch boxes. the college hospital is so big and well organised you will find many OPDs, various laboratories,Rooms, etc. everyone is so helpful and cooperative and helpful whether it is Principal sir, teachers, doctors, staff members, seniors.
