Patna Medical College was formally established as Temple Medical School in 1874. After shifting to Darbhanga then it was replaced by Prince of Wales Medical College in 1925. It now Patna Medical College, Patna continues to remain as one of the leading lights for medical education in India.

Patna Medical College offers full-time 5-year MBBS course is held for 150 seats at the undergraduate level. The course is conducted by MCI with full-time hospital services to provide better medical services.
MBBS Eligibility
MBBS admissions are provided through NEET-UG exam. After the declaration of merit list, a candidate is selected for counseling program then final admission round.
MD/MS and diploma offered at Patna Medical College are full-time courses at postgraduate level.
MD has various specialization such as Gen, Med, Paediatrics, Skin & VD, Radiodiagnosis, Radiotherapy, Psychiatry, Anaesthesiology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, PSM, Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, Pathology, Microbiology, and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation with minimum duration 2-year to 5-year.

MD/MS Eligibility

My college is one of best medical colleges if the state. All in all an average one with good mix of studies and extracurriculars.
College Needs to Focus on research works and latest advancements. Apart from this labs should be well equipped and lab standard should be maintained. Teachers need to also focus on building theoretical knowledge of students apart from clinical. Library need to be opened 24 * 7
The infrastructure of the college are not so excellent poor performance in research fields. College and hospital are in same campus without any demarcation soo there is little less privacy for students.
Yes my college provides internship. There is provision of compulsory internship for 1 year after completing 4.5 yrs of MBBS course. Job opportunities are many. You can become a medical officer after completing mbbs. But you can also persue PG for higher studies. Stipend in internship is 15,000.
There are much positive being in this college as it's one of the oldest and renowned college of India.bit the only troublesome situation arise when the political issue superpower the internal structure, doctor safety is also a great concern not only in this college but across India.
Its government college and all staff members are very cooperative and helpful. You don't have to pay any extra bucks for anything.
