The course curriculum is designed to provided to comprehensive understanding of the rich literary heritage of bengal.It encopassess a board spectrum of texts,from ancient to modern literature, ensuring that students gain a deep appreciation for the evolution of Bengali languiage and thought.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Bengali is my mother toung and that's why I love this subject. I want to know extra more intensity about this language and that's the main reason to choose bengali for my Graduation. And also all the bengali department faculties are well educated people and they teach us very well. At last I must say my college is provid good education to all students.
Likes
- Faculty and the Department. The teacher of the department works as a team that includes students and give them a friendly environment to work in. It enriches the morals and learnings as well.
- The environment is very calm and supportive. Seniors are as helpful as the should be and the campus is ragging free. These is no space for student harrasment.
Dislikes
- No drinking water facility. Students have mentioned this issue even before and maintenance are being renewed.
- No canteen which means students have to suffer to get food and have to travel a distance for lunch.
Course Curriculum Overview:
This course (English Honours) is a very rich and beneficial course that makes you absolutely aware of literature. The faculty is an excellent one. Teachers are highly appreciated for their professional skills and are very vulnerable towards the students. The department consists of professors who have done their PhD and postdocs. Exams occur in between regular intervals and the exams are based in standard mode. A student needs to prepare well for passing.

I want to do a masters in English so, I chose this course. You can get teachers' jobs after completing this course. Our teachers are very good. They teach us very well. Our college takes exams each month and every semester exam every 6 months.

The Term Exams happen in each Semester and the total no. Of semester are 6 and the Exams are not so, easy you can say that they are Difficult but not so hard. And yeah the pass Number is easy to get if you study well.

I love English subject very much, So I choose this course. I have 85% marks in My H.S Exam then I applied for BA in English. Teachers are very friendly with students in this college. If anybody has 50-60% marks then he can apply for this course in this college.

As we know Durgapur Government College is best college in Durgapur, The Faculty members of our class were highly educated, a total of 100 students were in my class and we got around 3-4 classes to study in a day, all classes were from different faculty members. We have to give semester wise exam as every 6 months.

The exams are taken in time, Due to covid situations, now a day's some exams are delayed, it's not college's fault. In normal situations, the exams are taken timely. The exams are difficult according to their course studies as the board suggests.

I am interested in accounts and I would like to do a job in a bank as an accountant, So I chose that course because it is the best option. The faculty and students ratio will great. The qualification of the faculty are somebody done doctored and also somebody has masters. Every six months semester-wise exam is held before the semester an internal exam will be held. It was quite difficult.

I am interested in maths and I would like to do a job in a bank as an accountant, its a really a great subject because in all of the field of work they need an accountant so it's the best option. This is a government-based college so it's really good for education and they provide too many books notes etc. In this college, all of the teachers are very helpful who will teach us in a class very well by taking time and briefly discusses all of the things which we have any doubt. If we have any issue related any maths or any question they provide other class to solve our problem. For project making the health was with all type of materials which we need in the project for best in the exam.
