The positive side of this college is that it has good facilities and good infrastructure. The college also provides quality education. The negetive side is that the exams conducted by the university and even the sessionals are really difficult.
Students with good marks in their 12 th board exams can avail the merit cum scholarship of the college through which they can get 50 % of the fees back during 1st year. The scholarships for the subsequent years will be based on their performance in the respective years.
The fees compared to other colleges are expensive here for a normal student. The students of the year 2018-22 has an annual fees of Rs 1,24,000 for the first year and Rs 1,11,000 for the subsequent years.
The college celebrates Diwali, onam, Christmas every year. The cultural festival of the college named Imprintz is conducted every year in the month of November and students securing higher prizes will be selected for the university fest.
The labs, sports facilities are really good. The university has a good and high tech sports complex named the MARENA where one can take membership for an year. MARENA provides world class facilities there.
The college has well connected alumni network and they do have a space in the website of the university. Every year they conduct get together in the college and share their happiness. The seniors of this college are also really helping.
The faculties are really good and are experienced. Most of the faculties are PhD holders and their lectures are really good. Some of the subjects are taught by Externals who come from other health sciences colleges of the same university.
Applied with my 12th marks and I was given provisional admission for BSc Nursing in the month of January. I was asked to pay caution deposit of 11000 and then when the 12 th marks were published I uploaded it to the website with my login id details. Admission order was given to me in June when I submitted all my documents to the college.
The college has signed MOU with some of the European countries and cultural exchanges also takes place between universities of other countries. Students from other countries come here as a part of the cultural exchange and do their practise here.
The course is a little tough and and the exams are difficult. The college conducts 2 sessional exams in a year and the University exam will be held in the month of June. The marks from the sessionals will be added as internal marks.
