The Institute offers B. Tech, M. Tech and MCA programs at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate level. Selection to B. Tech and MCA programs will be on the basis of marks secured by the candidate in Combined State Entrance Exam, UPSEE conducted by the UP State Technical University, AKTU, Lucknow.
The B. Tech program is offered in seven specializations viz, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Information Technology, Civil and Electronics and Instrumentation.
- The minimum qualification for B. Tech is intermediate (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- The minimum eligibility for B. Tech (Lateral Entry) is three-year engineering diploma in any branch of engineering (except Agriculture Eng., Pharmacy and Architecture).
AKGEC offers MCA program in two modes – Regular/ Lateral. The Master of Computer Application program requires the candidate to pass Graduation (10+2+3) from any recognized Indian University with Mathematics as one of the main subjects at 10+2 level or at graduation level.
- The basic qualification for MCA (Lateral Entry) Course is BCA, B.Sc. - IT/ Computer Science from any recognized Indian University with Mathematics as a mandatory subject at Intermediate or graduation level.
The Institute offers M. Tech program to the candidates in six specializations namely, Computer Science and Engineering, Automation and Robotics, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, VLSI Design and Mechanical. The candidates seeking admissions to M. Tech program are required to appear in PG Admission Test and Counseling conducted by AKTU, Lucknow. The basic eligibility criteria to apply is Graduation in any relevant field with minimum required marks.
