Fees -

The fee structure is different for each category. For kcet the yearly cost is around 84k including miscellaneous charges and all. For comedk students the charges are around 1.50 lakhs per annum including all the miscellaneous and exam fees. For management students an initial value has to be given to the college and then every year their cost is same as that of comedk.

review on BMSIT

Fees -

The admission process was pretty simple. It was divided into KCET , COMEDK and Management quota allotment. Depending on what quota you were selected in the respective admission process was undertaken.Based on what quota you are a part of you have respective fees.

Course Curriculum -

the curriculum is VTU. VTU is often considered to have a strict correction whereas regarding the syllabus is basic and very straight forward. But students need to take precaution while writing the external examinations because they tend to lose marks in the external corrections.Considering all of the above autonomous colleges are best preferred. BMSIT might consider changing to autonomous but it would take a few years.

My College: Pros and Cons

Fees -

I believe the fee structure is feasible. There are 3 quotas for admission, 2 of them are on merit.CET for students of Karnataka, Comedk for students from the rest of the country and Management for students seeking admission without merit. The CET fee structure is very cheap and is around ?70000 per year. The fee structure for Comedk students is a bit higher, but still feasible. It is around ?190000. Then comes the Management fees which is the highest at around ?400000 on an average for all the branches.

Course Curriculum -

The Course Curriculum is a bit old, but efforts are being made to change the syllabus and keep it updated according to the requirements of the industry. The exams are conducted at the end of each semester. We have Practicals first, and then the Theory papers. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. You're given an ONE sheet to fill in your detils. Write your answers on it and submit the paper. Finally, the results are out usually in a month or so.

BMSIT

Fees -

The fee structure is absolutely feasible because the fee amount is set by the government and it may be expensive for some of the people who are not affordable and the fee structure consists of the lab fee etc.

Course Curriculum -

The course curriculum is very simple everything is obeyed as per the instructions and the guidelines given by the Vishveswarayya technological university and the exam question papers are been set by the university and also been valuated by the university itself

College Review

Fees -

A person coming through entrance exam has to pay lesser compared to a person who comes through Management, the fee structure overall for a Management Quota is quite expensive comparing it with other colleges in its criteria.

Course Curriculum -

It is a good course right now and it will be better by the time I finish my studies. I hope they actually update with the outcoming and growing world because the topics we are studying are quite outdated in this modern era. I just hope this isn't the case with our next generation also.

Fees -

The fee structure is different for each category. For kcet the yearly cost is around 70k including miscellaneous charges and all. For comedk students the charges are around 2 lakhs per annum including all the miscellaneous and exam fees. For management students an initial value has to be given to the college and then every year their cost is same as that of comedk.

Course Curriculum -

The course we follow is the 2015 choice based credit system scheme of vtu which is a technical university of Karnataka. The course is much better than the previous schemes but compared to what is being taught in other universities, it lacks many thinks and it is pretty much behind competition wise.

Fees -

The fee structure is not expensive, it's up to the mark. Being in Bangalore everything is expensive then. There are many quota in our college like NRI, Management, SC/ST and so on. According to the convenience, the fee structure is plotted. The management fee is around 3lakh, it varies for NRI students. For students under KCET, they have some relief and for other based on their scholarship.

Course Curriculum -

Being honest I didn't know my college wasn't autonomous, it is under VTU scheme and that made me disappointed a little bit because you know govt takes a lot of time in every work so that time I was a little bit upset. Coming to the point of courses, all courses under VTUis not yet modified but some subjects are well made to meet industrial needs. my college being under VTU is bounded to fulfill the university needs but apart from that, it provides a lot of innovative ideas, many industrial visits that make my college different.

Course Curriculum -

Because that I have chosen to study in this colleges bachelor of engineering as you all know it has many branches and the branch you choose will depend on your interest as well as Your CET ranking
