Ans. Manipal University is a self-financed university of private status, while Bharati Vidyapith is a deemed university. Both of them enjoy a highly reputed NAAC accreditation and rankings from esteemed associations. The choice between the two institutes for CS or IT depends on certain basic factors some of which are discussed below in detail. Ranking: BVP holds an A category in NAAC third cycle conducted in 2017. It has more than 23000 students with 1600+ faculty members. It is a diversified university with students from 48 countries. Manipal University has the 6th rank among all universities in the north zone. Best University in Rajasthan Award 2020 is also rewarded to the institution. Academics & Fee Structure: Manipal University offers B.Tech CS /IT at a fee structure of Rs. 12.01 Lakhs as a full-time course of 4 years duration. The university also offers a B.Tech Lateral program of 3 years at Rs. 4.27 Lakhs BVP University offers a B.Tech program for these two specializations at Rs. 4.8 Lakhs. Eligibility: The details about the selection process are as follows. Manipal University offers a minimum criterion of 10+2 with 55% marks. MET /JEE score is mandatory for B.tech admission. A direct admission facility is available but that solely depends on the marks obtained. Bharati Vidyapith accepts 10+2 with 50% marks and a BVP common entrance test score. Ans. Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering holds 17th rank among universities in India by Times, 2020. Admissions for B. Tech in ECE is based on two things: Entrance test conducted by the university and the results of JEE mains. The placement rate for this course is also good. Lastly, almost 91% of the students got placed.  Total course fee 3.68 lakhs Eligibility criteria MHT CET/JEE Main Total seats 60 Top recruiters ACCENTURE, Amazon, Atos, Bosch Ltd, Cap Gemini, Cognizant, ElectroMech, GODREJ, IBM Average salary 3 lakhs Admission process The admission process is wholly online with an application fee of 1,700 INR.  Admissions are based on an entrance test known as MHT CET and the rank obtained in JEE mains followed by counseling.  Students should also complete their 12th with at least 50%. Math and Physics should be there as compulsory subjects.  Placements Companies like ACCENTURE, Amazon, Atos, Bosch Ltd, Cap Gemini, Cognizant, ElectroMech, GODREJ, IBM, etc visit campus in search of good placements.  The average salary package offered to students for this course is up to 3 lakhs and the highest package offered up to 8 lakhs.  The infrastructure of the university is good and eco-friendly. Good classroom, spacious library, labs, all are available and this campus also has a huge sports ground and has its own hospital within the campus. The hostel facilities are also very good.     Course Curriculum -

    Course syllabus is good. It has some interesting topics. Not much industrial exposure though. Teachers are normal expect for one or two in my branch. They just want to complete the course and they do it by any means. Most of them don't think that students are understanding or not. But there are some very good teachers like Ashwin Nayak, Dr. KB Sutar who really teaches so well and students understand everything.

    Syllabus at BVP is latest and updated one and syllabus is very well designed. We get more than industrial exposure their because it is located in Pune and which is IT hub so we get advantage of that thing.     Fees -

    My college fees was 95000 when i joined the college in 2015 but the college fees is increasing every year. as of the last i know in 2017 college fees was 1 lac 13 thousand. It is feasible comapared to other private colleges in india but it have some internal fees like exam fees back fees which is way high than other colleges.

    Course Curriculum -

    As an electronics engineer i got the most of the practical knowledge by the college professor and the labs. The labs are well equiped with the latest equipments. other than theortical and practical knowledge there are many other curricular activities.

    Fees are average but the exam fees cost like a bunch ,very expensive , like if you get a back log the exam fees will go upto 6 thousand or more, i have seen people paying 16 thousand just for the exam fees , plus they have many registrations to be done which i think should be paid by college itself

    Course Curriculum -

    Not at all research driven or hands on practice. It is very much write up based and every thing has to be mugged up And thousands of assignment writing. The seminar conducted are also because the the company conducting the seminar has tied up with college.

    Genuine review of placements in bharati vidyapeeth

    Fees -

    The college fee is little at expensive side and increases every year. In year 2017 it was about 112000 inr and additional charges about 4000 inr for each semester as examination fee. The hostel fee is also about 1,00000 inr annum and it also increases every where.

    Course Curriculum -

    Curriculum is based on cbcs pattern and is based on pune university curriculum which is 2014 course cbcs curriculum and is outdated. The syllabus is fair but not research driven. It is good but some things in the syllabus are irrelevant and needs to be corrected.

    Hi Piyush, The admission to the M.Tech course requires that the aspiring candidates have a B.E or B.Tech degree from the respective branch or an equivalent from an AICTE approved institution or Associate Membership (AMIE) in the respective branch with valid Graduate Aptitude Test (GATE) score. Candidates aspiring for admission to the M.Tech course also need to take BVP CET conducted by the university.

BVDUCOEP is ranked among top 100 engineering colleges in India and also ranked by NIRF and accredited with A+ grade and thus is considered to be a good college when it comes to engineering course. Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune, Maharashtra is a well-established college which was set up about 50 years ago. Various good aspects are- 1)Best placements as Pune is an IT hub. 2)Best infrastructure 3)Well qualified professors 4)Conducts various events, fests, exhibitions, etc. Some negatives are:- Hostel isn't good ad it rains almost for five to six month...

    This college is located away from my house and I was especially looking for this. College is located at very good location. I had heard about this college from my friends and applied for the same. Fees of the program is also affordable.

    BVP PUNE is one of the best university in Pune with NIRF ranking of 63 and with highest package of 34 lacs and median salary is 5 lacs which is also good and campus is spread over 100+ acres and campus is lush green and environment friendly. And I think this college is very affordable because fees is very low and it is providing its best at this low fees.
