College is a good easy life there are many flaws but adjusting is the meaning of life.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is a SCHOLARSHIP provided by up govt and there is a high 95% chance for you to get it. Only if you are alert. Eligibility is you/your parents should have a domicile certificate of UP. Family income should not be more than 2.5 lakhs per annum i.e. income certificate of anyone in the family. 10/12 mark sheet and other documents. If there is a problem then ask your seniors they will surely help.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee is relevant or may be low as compared to the education and facilities provided. There are some cases in which you will be asked to pay again for some purpose for which if you complain then frequently actions are taken. No additional fee is charged in order to secure admission as it is a central government organized college. College provides transparency in the fee breakdown.
Hostel Facilities :
Truly speaking for first-year boys, hostel is good spacious rooms, highly secure. No laundry you will have to wash your clothes yourself. Washrooms and bathrooms are cleaned once a week so please try to maintain it. There are 3 people in one room which contains 3 separate beds, study table and chair, separate charging ports and separate wardrobes. Rest is all on how you maintain it.
There are basically two major events celebrated 1. Capora (sports event) which provides competition between each year in different sports and 2. Anant (cultural event) which is celebrated within the campus. There are many other small events and competition. College also takes part in other inter college event and techfest etc.
Campus Life :
Campus life is good but there are some unnecessary boundations. The gender ratio is 1 girl/ 7 boys in my batch. Students are adjustive and dorm party it's on. The workshop is average and sorry no club activities but it doesn't seem to matter at all. There is some business with diploma students and many boundations on BTech students but no racism at all.
7 of 10 have better Currier and are happy they really appreciate the education they have been provided.
There are 20 to 23 lecturers including workshop etc, the average age of 40 and all are highly qualified professors. They are all experts in their fields, very helpful and understanding besides one math teacher (you will know) who is busy most of his time for college welfare etc.
I opted for this college because I'm an average student and this college seemed an ideal college for me. Factors: stream I chose was slightly unique and has low competition and a high chance of placement or to start a business/startup in the related field. Placement is average but the course curriculum is good, faculty is cooperative. And if you want to study further then you should know that most of the students crack GATE as an academic result is good.
Placement Experience :
Placement is average with a package of 3 to 6 lakhs and can go high up to 12 lakhs. But I would prefer you to focus towards our campus placement which has a very high chance of getting placed. Tentative percentage of students placed overall is 6 out of 10 which is also because other 4 mostly look for out campus placement or for higher studies.
Course Curriculum Overview :
There are two courses taught here 1. Plastic Engineering (PE) 2. Manufacturing technology (MT) in which MT is a harder but better chance of getting a decent job than PE. As per the curriculum, it is good as faculty really is serious and strict besides one or two and looks forward to your academic growth. The course is structured by AKTU for BTech so it has to be a bit messed up but you will not face any difficulty.
Ques. What is the scope for diploma in plastic technology from Cipet Lucknow?
● Top Answer By Abhay Pratap Singh on 14 Jan 21
Ans.CIPET is an autonomous institute known for its specialization in plastics technology. Any course related to plastics in this institute is definitely a good choice. Diploma in Plastic Industries (DPT) has a very limited scope but it’s a job many admire.
After completion of DPT, one can go for Btech in Plastics technology and then go for MTech. Many private companies are situated in Noida and Ghaziabad where students can apply for jobs. Students can apply for PSU’s such as IOCL after completion of the course.
CIPET Lucknow is considered to be the best among other CIPET’s for the DPT course. The placement record of CIPET Lucknow in DPT is quite remarkable with achieving a 100% placement sometimes. The placement record of CIPET Lucknow also has a decent salary record. The campus selection directly after completion increases the chances of getting work experience which will help in the future to land your dream job.
Though, if you want to apply for CIPET, you need to qualify for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for a diploma first. CIPET doesn’t groom student as a worker rather it helps develop their professional skills.Read more

Though, the hike or increment is offered to the students after the successful completion of their training period.
Salary Based on Company:
The salary absolutely depends on the type of company.
Some companies offer Rs 12,000 with food and accommodation while other companies offer Rs 17,000 without food and accommodation.

The campus placement offers a higher salary than off-campus recruitments. The lowest salary is offered for walk-ins and referral recruits. The institute has no role to play depending on the salary of the students rather the skills of the student play a major role. Though, the recruited position and the company will determine the salary.Read more
Ques. In CIPET, there is DPT and DPMT. Which one is better?
● Top Answer By Chandana Shah on 14 Jan 21
Ans.As per the alumni of CIPET, DPT, and DPMT both are good and a bit different from each other. Students opting for DPT have limited career growth. For DPT, areas of growth are limited to processing or quality executive. The exposure for students opting for DPMT is vast. The opportunities for DPMT include tool room, mould design, research and development, and new product development.
Points of Focus:
In DPT, the strength, toughness, melting point, and applications of polymers are focused upon along with plastics and machine maintenance.
In DPMT, the points of focus are CNCs milling and CNCs lathe, mould maintenance, EDM electric discharge machine, and designing. DPMT mainly involves the manufacturing of moulds for structuring plastics. With the knowledge of mold designing, students will get an overview of the processing and necessary operations involved.
In DPT and DPMT, the only difference lies in the syllabus is the addition of tooling knowledge and design knowledge in DPMT.
The mould design in the DPMT syllabus also teaches 2D-3D designing of mold in the tool room which can help you to become a master of plastics.
Students can opt for DPMT for more exposure and scope.Read more
