CGC College of Engineering offers B.Tech degree program under four different specializations. The regular B.Tech course is offered for a duration of four years. The college also provides B.Tech degree under lateral entry, for which the course duration is three years.
Admission to the regular B.Tech program will be based on merit in JEE Main along with the marks obtained in 10+2 or equivalent examination. Admission to the B.Tech lateral program will be based on merit in the qualifying examination i.e. three years Diploma in Engineering.

College offers M.Tech degree program at the postgraduate level under four different specializations. The course duration of each of the M.Tech specialization is two years.
To be considered eligible for the M.Tech program, a candidate needs to hold a Bachelor of Technology or Bachelor of Engineering degree in the relevant discipline.
Admission to the M.Tech. program will be done through an entrance examination followed by an interview conducted by Chandigarh University. Candidates having a valid GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) score are exempted from the Entrance test.
