Heritage Institute of Technology Admission
GATE is a national level test for admission to M.Tech and Ph.D. courses in various fields of engineering and technology. GATE Eligibility Criteria for application is Bachelor’s degree (4 years after 10+2, or 3 years after Diploma) in the related engineering and science stream. GATE Exam is held in online mode and is held for 23 papers. GATE Exam Pattern is divided into 3 sections namely General Aptitude, Engineering Mathematics and specific subject of the paper. It contains 65 questions of 100 marks.

- Bachelor of Technology is a full-time 4-year undergraduate program with minimum eligibility criteria of 10+2 examination passed with 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, West Bengal or equivalent.
- Master of Technology (M.Tech.) is a 2-year full-time postgraduate course. All applicants for admission to the M.Tech program except those having valid GATE score should sit for a written test (PGET) conducted by MAKAUT.
- Master of Computer Application (MCA) is a 3-year postgraduate program. Admissions are made from candidates who have passed Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline under (10+2+3) system with Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects at Degree level and having at least 50% marks on an average in the graduation level.
