IIST Indore Admission

The selection of candidates in B.Tech will be done on the basis of their results in JEE (Main). Interested candidates can apply for the JEE main exam through NTA official website. 

Candidates with a valid JEE Main score have to apply for centralized counselling that is conducted by DTE Madhya Pradesh. Then they need to select the college and courses and also have to lock their choices in preferential order

Admission to the M.E program takes place through GATE

Application Procedure:

  • For admission to the B.E. program candidates register through the online admission portal available at the official IIST website
  • Enter all the relevant details
  • After submission, download and take the printout of the generated “Bank Challan” for paying the application fee.
  • Submit the fee in the bank with the help of “Challan” 
  • Obtain the transaction details.
  • Using the applicant’s login enter the bank transaction details 
  • Also, upload the receipt of the bank challan to complete the registration process.

IIST Indore Facilities

  • Accommodation: The institute has a separate hostel facility for both girls and boys each having the capacity of accommodating more than 250 students. Each room is equipped with modern amenities plus an attached bath and toilet. 
  • Laboratories: The institute provides the finest labs for each department running in the institute. And, each lab is intended to complement the subjects related to the stream.
  • Computer Labs: There are computer labs, operating round the clock and 365 days in a year. There are 1000 + PCs in addition to a number of laptops, servers, and WiFi access.

In my point of view, IIST is one of the best colleges. The students who gain a higher ratio of marks are benefited with scholarships too, the college tries its best to give placement to the student in India's top companies.     First of all a peaceful atmosphere of campus. Coordination between faculties and students is better. All the branches have a SIG(Special Intrest Group) through which talented students will get a platform to explore his/her ideas and skills. If we can talk about the infrastructure of college so it is good neat and clean and have hostel facility.

    Admission is done through MPDTE counseling based on JEE marks. Huge campus all the laboratories are well equipped as required by any engineering student, smart classes, virtual labs. The best thing about our college is the various SIGs(special interest groups) and clubs that help us to get a real-time experience of the field and makes us industry-ready. Our college participates in various competitions like BAHA, GOKART, HACKATHON, etc Affordable fees structure basically based on 12th class results.

    College is very beautiful and peaceful institutions my college provide lots of opportunity just like sports, singing and many other fields and now talking about the hostel it's just amazing in part of my college and now taking about the college placement sell is one the institution where direct selection in army, air force, and navy and it is also achievement no. one award in infrastructure. My college is one of the best college in mp as compared to other private college.

    They can be more systematic and do a lot better in terms of management i.e. office work. Students have to roam alot for office kind of works.
