Fees: The fees of the course are Rs 1.44 Lakh (first year). Faculty: Many of the faculty members have PhDs. There are also guest lecturers that are called to provide in-depth knowledge to the students. Placement Highlights: The college promises 100% placement for this course. Many technology-based companies have started to visit the college which helps the students getting placed The highest salary package that was offered was 12 LPA, the average salary package offered ranges between 5-6 LPA. Ans. Generally, the only competitors of NITs will be IITs or other NITs. However, NIT Srinagar is not the most reputed NIT & IET Lucknow is a worthy competitor. Both of these are great colleges to pursue a course in CSE. Admission & Eligibility: Admission to NIT Srinagar is through JEE main. Eligibility is a pass with a minimum of 75% marks in 10+2 exams with maths, physics & chemistry. Admission to IET Lucknow is through UPSEE. Eligibility is a pass in 10+2 exams with maths, physics & chemistry. Fee Structure: The first-year fee at NIT Srinagar amounts to INR 1.36 lakhs in total and the total fee for 4 years amounts to INR 5.46 lakhs. Hostel fees are extra. The total first-year fee that includes tuition, exam fees, and other fees amount to INR 89,775 at IET Lucknow. The total fee for 4 years comes at INR 3.44 lakhs. Infrastructure: IET Lucknow has a fully equipped and air-conditioned computer centre with high-speed internet. Other facilities include separate hostels for girls and boys, a gym, a medical facility, and a bank inside the campus. NIT Srinagar, apart from being a scenic place, also has very good infrastructure for CSE students. The placement rate of CSE branch is higher as compared to other subjects in IET. Generally the recruiting companies for CSE and ECE branches are almost similar. The only difference lies in the institution, teaching staff and the candidate’s performance. Both the institutions have qualified faculties. Both of them are approved by AICTE. In MNNIT Allahabad: 90.63% is the ECE placement rate of MNNIT Allahabad. Some of the on-campus facilities in MNNIT Allahabad are a stationery shop, generator, student club, hostel (geyser, air cooler, refrigerator, water cooler, washing machine), PCO, 24/7 canteen, etc. Getting into IET Lucknow is difficult, as their cut-offs are really high.
