"The course curriculum is well rounded and doesn't demand you to focus on one specific field of study. It makes sure that, while you study what's most relevant to your branch, you also get educated about subjects which aren't so necessary for the branch. There are 5 subjects, and a few lab subjects. Course Curriculum -

The course curriculum is well rounded and doesn't demand you to focus on one specific field of study. It makes sure that, while you study what's most relevant to your branch, you also get educated about subjects which aren't so necessary for the branch. There are 5 subjects, and a few lab subjects. They hold two 30 marks tests for the 5 subjects and one 100 marks exam every semester. Two 2 30 marks tests are averaged and the final exam is scaled down to 60. During the semester an internal assessment of 10 marks is conducted. The 10 marks internal assessment, tests and exam add up to 100. The labs are out of 50 marks, and the students are marked on the basis of their lab journals practical ex...

Review of K.J. Somaiya college of engineering

Fees -

The fee structure of the College is bit expensive as our college is an autonomous private college, but the College provides all the facilities and aids for the students and don't lack in any manner , also they provide many scholarships for unprivileged students.

Course Curriculum -
9 /10

The curriculum of the college is decided by our own college because it being an autonomous college has rights to set own curriculum also with that it focuses on extracurricular and co-curricular activities. The exam structure of our college is continuous assessment the students are continuously assessed during the course of time.

Fees -

considering the government funded colleges the fee is slightly expensive. While studying there the fees almost crossed 1 lakh. There were no other charges as everything was covered in this fees. It can also be paid into installments

Course Curriculum -
10 /10

The curriculum was good. It covered vast spectrum of courses. Practical knowledge and hands on experience is also provided. The courses were knowledgeable and gave a detailed Idea about the topic. for a vast subject more that one courses covered that topic

Bachelor of Commerce

Fees -

It’s an aided college and girls gets concession so it was very affordable. Fee structure only for Bachelor if Commerce was less for other specialised courses like Baf, Bmm it was almost to Rs. 20 to 25 k.

Course Curriculum -
8 /10

We had six semesters half yearly each in Bachelor of Commerce. If we failed in any subject we were required to appear for KT after clearing which we were passed for next one. Course Curriculum was as per Mumbai University.

Fees -

Fees is a bit expensive 1.5 lakhs a year. But many scholarship options are available like sir JRD tata scolarship, Ratan tata scholarship. State government minority scholarship and merit based scholarships are also taken by students.

Course Curriculum -
8 /10

Course Curriculum is updated every year to accommodate upcoming trends. Since KJSCE has private autonomy status, it can design its own curriculum as per industry requirement. Also, the best part is feedback from all students is taken every semester and course is updated based on feedback.

Fees -

The fee structure is on the expensive side. Being a private college, fees are higher. However, the facilities provided justify the fees. Right from olympic sized running track to full fledged grass turf for football, it is justified.

Course Curriculum -
9 /10

Excellent, college follows semester pattern. Total 8 semeters span across 4 years. Theory, practical and viva exams are used for evaluation. College is known for its strict evaluation. Being autonomous college, exams are managed internally.

Fees -

Can be graded as expensive but if you are good in academics later on you get a scholarship and myself being a tfws student fess is very low Compared with others but along with good infrastructure and other facilities it is ok

Course Curriculum -
8 /10

The curriculum is designed well as being an autonomous college all the required stuff are present. The exam pattern is of 60-40 for which 60 is for semester weightage and 40 unit test but sem exam paper is of 100marks converted to 60 later. Out of 40marks 10marks is internal assesment having quiz and other stuff.

How to get better college

Fees -

According to my point of view fee structure is quite high as compared to other colleges from other city . But they provide great facilities if we think about fee structure . infrastructure is very wonderful.

Course Curriculum -

Its not a college its a emotion of joy of learning

Fees -

If talking about fee than yes fee of this college is expensive. The fee of this college is around 1.77 LPA which is very much expensive for normal people but for the big campus and best learning experience this fee is right.

Course Curriculum -
10 /10

This college is autonomous affiliated to Mumbai University so the course curriculum of this college is different than Mumbai University. This college has divided students of the first year in 2 group 1 group will study physics, mechanics, EVS, PIC in sem 1 and other in sem 2 and other subjects of the first year in his other year. This college also has 1 extra subject called as Industrial application which helps the student to get the application of his field.

Best college for engineering with big campus and well educated professors

Fees -

If you are talking about fee than definitely fee of KJSCE is too much for an average students. Total yearly fee of an students in Kjsce is 1.73lpa which is quite high for an students whose family income is not too much. But if you will talk about college faculty, library, campus than definitely fee is comparable to it.

Course Curriculum -
9 /10

Course curriculum in KJSCE is different than course curriculum of Mumbai University Because of autonomy of KJSCE. In Kjsce if you are in first year and you are comp or IT student than you have to learn Engineering drawing, Communication skill, elements of electrical and electronics engineering in 1st sem and other in 2nd sem and if you are Extc or ETRX than its reverse.
