Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology is a government institution located in Sultanpur in Uttar Pradesh. The college has crossed an establishment period of more than 40 years. 

The college offers various courses at undergraduate, post graduate, and doctorate levels in the stream of engineering and computer applications. Under these streams , the students are provided with more specializations to major in. 

The admission process takes place online and the B.Tech courses require the students to write the UP state entrance exam. All the admissions take place as per the guidelines of Dr. Abdul Kalam Technological institute. 

The college provides some key facilities like hostels, dispensary, canteen , guest house etc. The students are also encouraged to participate in various extra-curricular activities apart from academics.

KNIT Sultanpur Admission

The process of admission takes place online and is based on entrance tests for some courses and merit based for the others.

The students who want to pursue the course of B. tech or MCA must appear the UPSEE examination and for M.Tech the students must attempt GATE examination.

On the basis of the merit scored in the entrance examination and the guidelines provided by DAKT University , the counselling for the courses will take place.

  • U.P Government provides 10% of the students of B. Tech a concession of Rs.3000 .
  • On the basis of the income of the parents the students will be provided some monthly concession in the fees. The amount will vary for day scholars and hostellers.
  • Financial aid is also provided to reserved categories such as SC and ST.
  • Other miscellaneous scholarships are provided by the institution as well as by the state government.

      Good aspects are full support of seniors and bad aspects of the old academic building. Admission is on the basis of upsee examination & exam held in March and April.       Kamla Nehru institute of technology is a government institute and one of the reputed institute in the state. First, you have to give state entrance exam i.e. UPSEE. there is no other way to take admission rather than this. After the result, you have to go through an online counselling round to choose the college according to your rank in merit list. Preferably for information technology (1000-4000).After counselling result, if you get the college, then you will be informed through Aktu website where the counselling held. Then a date is finalised, when you have to come to college with required documents and fees in the college.
