Kumaraguru College of Technology was established in 1984 and located in the outskirts of Coimbatore. Kumaraguru College of Technology, shortly known as KCT is an autonomous, self-financing engineering college.
The college is affiliated to Anna University and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). All courses offered by KCT have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) of the University Grants Council (UGC).
