After 5th-semester students become eligible for campus placement. Many big companies like dell hp google intel Microsoft and so on visited and offers good packages. The highest package was 20 lakh and average is 6-7 lakhs.
This college has all the necessary facilities that are required for education. Well equipped laboratory with the latest technology and hygenic. Academics are good all the teachers are well qualified. Placement drive is also good.
Students become eligible for paid internships from the 5th semester itself though the actual placements start in the 7th semester. Many students grab the opportunities and bag pre-placement offers at the end of their summer internships. Around 180 companies visit the campus with an average offer of 7 every 10 students. The highest package for the 2020 batch was 42 lpa offered to Computer science students in Adobe. Other notable placements were in Microsoft, Maruti Suzuki, L&T construction, etc to name a few. The average package differs from branch to branch with it being highest for the Computer Science stream of around 7 lpa. Around 70 percent of students get placement offers before graduation. I myself got campus placed in Maruti Suzuki and have been working with them for 6 months and continuing.
Decent alumni recognition, excellent location, specifically good for mechanical engineering course as it has very reputed professors. Also, seats were given purely based on merit instead of quota. From websites like quora, the feedback was that college life is great in terms of the overall development. The admission process is fairly straightforward. Seperate entrance exam is conducted and based on the score the counseling procedure as scheduled. Exam happens around May-June. The exam can be given twice and the best score out of 2 is considered. The college boasts of distinguished alumni such as Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Rajeev Suri amongst a few which is always attractive. Apart from that, the cosmopolitan open culture is always a great driver for experiential learning and overall growth. Lastly not forgetting to mention that specifically Mechanical Engineering is one of the oldest and most reputed streams in the college which is a great morale booster.
Placements are pretty good. There is a good balance of tech / non-tech and management profile. Companies like Goldman Sachs, Microsoft and Amazon visit the campus for recruitment. The highest package offered is of around 43lpa with an average of around 7 LPA.
The reviews of the college from the alumni were really encouraging and none of them seemed to be disappointed with their college experience. The exposure which the college provided further lured me into the decision. Good - 1. Student community is really friendly. There is no scope of ragging and the authorities take strict actions if there is any. 2. Exposure is immense there are a plethora of clubs be it technical/non- technical/cultural where you can pursue your hobbies/ hone your skills and learn to work in a team. 3. Manipal is an amazing place to stay and there are various recreational spots to explore. Bad - 1. The fee is high. 2. Some of the professors aren't interested in teaching and just run slides, most of the learning is out of the classroom.
The placements in Manipal are great for all the branches. The success rate is around 86% for the top branches and the offers are high. The highest packages are in the range 15-20 lakhs per annum and some offers tend to go till 40 lakhs. The top recruiters are Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Accenture. The lowest packages are about 3-5 lakhs per annum and the average packages are 6-8 lakhs per annum. The job and internship offers are increasing each year. In the last cycle, 1089 offers were given to the students and the highest package was 43.31 lakhs per annum to a computer-related branch student. Around 300+ students converted their internship offers to job offers. The placement cell of MIT is very competent and the best companies visit each year. I am planning to work in a company for around a year and then go for my masters.
Manipal Institute of Technology is the second-best private college in India after BITS Pilani. MIT is an Institution of Eminence which was a big reason to join. The exposure provided here in terms of the activities, fests, clubs and student projects are best when compared to other colleges. There is a good and informal bond between juniors and seniors here with no instances of ragging or bullying. There is a student buddy program here in which each first-year student is allotted a senior as a mentor who will clear all doubts of the junior. The admission process takes into account the MET Score and the counselling process is smooth and impartial. There is the NRI Quota for students from abroad. MIT's placement cell is very competent and big companies like Microsoft, Amazon and Goldman Sachs are the top recruiters. Overall, Manipal Institute of Technology is a great choice.
Placements are good. Many companies come and most of them get placed and some opt for higher studies. Students become eligible from 3rd year onwards after getting degree my first plan is to get a better job in core companies of my branch.
Best Labs and world-class facilities for mechanical branch these are the reasons I joined Manipal. Admission process is based on MET and one can get scolarship of AICTE and local people get scolarship based on their school. Admission will be based on exam then counselling of 5 rounds followed by intra sliding for branch change. You can change your branch after 1st year as well based on CGPA. I saw the info on college on collegedunia website. I asked few of my friends who are studying there and asked them about it. After hearing what they said. Labs are best and you can enjoy your life in Manipal. Hostel life is great.

Manipal Institute of Technology is a unit of Manipal University. Being a part of such an interdisciplinary university allows the interaction between students of various streams and branches. The students can select electives that have no relation to their subject to explore different fields. The biggest reason anyone chooses MIT is that it provides a great network and social circle.
A student should have taken physics, math and chemistry to get into Manipal Institute of Technology. The entrance exam to get into the college is MET. I wrote the exam in the year 2019 and I secured a score of 500/800.
well they are good as they train us for these placements and also with tricky questions to clear during the interview and about the placements they are literally good enough
well it's great university for people who wanna enjoy their period of 4 years with freedom and studies and also the life outside the hometown. well i recommend this university for those people who want their studies go smooth and also stress-less and also for academic excellence and also it has more than 250 collaborations with foreign universities in more than 30 countries which gives chance the students who want continue their studies in foreign with help of student exchange program. need not worry if u get a non-preferred branch in this university, they give us chance to change our branch to preferred ones during the second semester , for the branch change u have score some good GPA during the first year.
The courses offered and the choice of electives available to a student played an integral part in my decision. Along with this the reputation was of the institute along with a good cosmopolitan environment were other influencing factors.
There are several companies that visit the campus and it is honestly difficult to name them. however Computer related branches record nearly 100 percent placements. While the opportunities for other core branches are more limited. A minimum of 7 cgpa is usually required to sit for most jobs and a student should not have backs while applying.
