Ans. MIT Manipal is ranked 45 by NIRF in the year 2020 among engineering colleges. MIT Manipal is accredited by AICTE. Nirma University is ranked 63 among engineering colleges in the rankings posted by India Today. They have a 5 year integrated B.Tech-MBA course. Admission & Eligibility: MIT Manipal: Admission to BTech at MIT Manipal is through the MET entrance exam. Eligibility is a pass in 10+2 exams with 50% marks in maths and physics. Apart from Manipal Entrance Test (MET), candidates with excellent academic results will have an advantage. Nirma University: Admissions for BTech courses in Nirma University is done based on JEE mains. Eligibility is a pass in 10+2 exams with 60% marks in physics, maths & chemistry. Candidates are also liable to go through a personal interview to secure admission. Fee Structure: MIT Manipal fee structure is as follows: The first-year fee amounts to INR 3.35 lakhs in total. And the total fee for 4 years amounts to INR 13.45 lakhs. Hostel fees are extra. Nirma University's fee structure is as follows: The first-year fee amounts to INR 2.571 lakhs in total. And the total fee for 5 years amounts to INR 12.85 lakhs. Hostel fees are extra. Placement: Nirma University: Around 50 companies visited Nirma University offering placement opportunities to students. Nirma University students received campus placement opportunities from Aequs Aerospace, Enigmat Simulation, Fin Momenta Pvt Ltd, Lekha wireless, Reniac Inc, Vizag Steel Plant, etc. The highest CTC package offered was INR 50 LPA. The average CTC offered in 2020 was around INR 17.5 LPA. MIT Manipal: MIT Manipal recently concluded their 2020 campus placement drive. the placement drive was hosted by a whopping 392 recruiters that included 50 Fortune 500 companies looking to hire freshers. Popular recruiters were Accenture, Capgemini, Cleartax, Goldman Sachs, TCS, Appdynamics, etc. The highest CTC offered was INR 43 LPA and the average CTC offered last time was INR 7.5 LPA. MIT Manipal is slightly better than Nirma University in terms of NIRF ranking. However, MIT Manipal is more expensive and provides no scholarship opportunities. The fee structure of the college is extremely affordable and feasible, I feel. It's very economical. The fees are Rs 70,000 per annum which makes it to Rs 280,000 on a total for a period of four years which is not very expensive.
The course curriculum is updated and friendly. It has no pressure and has no hectic. Time is available for the students to take part in other activities and not be dull. The exam structure is also in favor of the students.
the fee structure was standard I should say, every new or fresher ie first semester. fee were about 35 to 40k and changes the range after some years and is not the same every time. and the rest semester till 8th seen the admissions gradually decreases. it was feasible and affordable
it was according to AICTE and college follows the norms given by then. the Syllabus was fine and it's similar to most of the engineering college and institutes. the curriculum was a challenging curriculum and is quite fired to the current challenging 21st century
