The course curriculum in IPU is very outdated they are still forced to teach us outdated machinery even when the new one has replaced the taught one. Also, there is a serious lack of practical knowledge in our course, i.e, there are no hands on knowledge about whatever you are studying. So you need to deviate from the topic and research some subjects deeper on your own. The faculty is really helpful as far as EEE is concerned. They are pretty chill and won't fail you unnecessarily in internals. Overall they are helpful and give you options to showcase your projects on different platforms.
BTech is highly in demand in recent years. Since I have an interest in the field of machines, I chose BTech in ECE. The faculty is well qualified and experienced. They are friendly which makes it easier for the student to understand the topic and clear their doubts. Most teachers are PhD or they are pursuing their PhD degrees. Exams are delayed most of the times. In comparison to other universities, Exams are late in IP University. They are moderately difficult, once can pass an exam easily if prepared well.
I choose this course because after some time there is a boom in electrical vehicles is coming. Faculty are mostly Ph.D.'s and they are supportive and cooperative but lab assistant is moody type. Exams held at regular intervals but most of the time they postpone the exams.
In this era of professionalism, pursuing some professional degree and getting a decent job is the primary priority for the majority of the students. The college provides quite a decent placement to its students pursuing B.Tech, majorly from CSE, IT, and ECE. Also, the syllabi and curriculum are upto the mark as per AICTE norms, thus making students prepared for various competitive exams as well. Faculties are well qualified so as to make the students understand the gist of their subject. Many of them are qualified from IITs, NITs, and other prestigious institutions. Almost every year, the university topper comes from the college which shows the dedication of the faculties as well. They promote research and development work as well.
I chose ECE trait cause it is an all-rounder field dealing with hardware and software as well. The college has all that you need. There is one faculty over every 45 students Which is good but somehow I still think that there were some IITians as our teachers then it would have been the icing on the cake. The teachers are evolving with every passing year. We have projects on new technologies taking over the world. Everyone passes our exam but if you want to secure highly good then you have to work from starting.
My college is affiliated with ipu. Faculty of my college quite good as compare to other colleges. Most of the faculty done their PhD. the external exam has a medium level and it's easy to pass if you did 3 unit you get good marks easily.
I choose this course as I have an interest in electrical engineering and appliances. It works at the forefront of practical technology, improving the devices that we use in our day to day life. Each class has about 60 students and there are about 3 sections for each branch. There are 4,5 branches in total and the number of teachers is a minimum of 150 in all the 5 blocks. Teachers are highly qualified and experienced. Teaching methods are somewhat nice. I would say it also depends on the students that they are cooperative or not. This is a 4-year course with 2 semesters each year. Every semester has two sessional exams 25 marks each and one term exam 75 marks. Exam pattern may vary due to covid-19 crises. Exams are not very much difficult to pass. Although, the overnight study may not work.
The faculty is very experienced and qualified and they have a good quality of teaching there are smart classes for better understanding. Teacher and student interaction is brilliant they give their attention to each and every student with a smile on their face some teachers are a little arrogant but overall faculty is very good. Teachers are always trying to know the queries of students and always there for them to solve them. If the class gets over then the students can go any time to the teacher with their problems and they give full attention and always solve student's problems.
I chose this course as personally, I love electronics. Student ratio is 2:1 in my branch. Whereas if we have a look at the CSE branch the ratio is approximately 1:1. The faculty is highly qualified from the best institutions and most of them are PhD doctors. The term exams are held after every 5 months approximately. And the odd semester is difficult to pass as it is slightly rushed.
As I already decided to take cse or it as my stream.so I opt for this course. I do not really know about the ratio so I could not quote anything on the topic but the teachers are always there if you have any doubt or any query related subject or anything related to college. Teachers are well qualified as teachers are recruited as per the ggsipu norms. Term exams were organised by the ggsipu and the paper is same for all the campuses of the ggsipu except main campus.
