Courses in IT are offered at many colleges and universities as part of bachelor's and master's degree programs in computer technology, information management and computer science. Coursework in computer technology may also be available through associate and bachelor's degree programs in computer programming. Here are a few common concepts taught in computer technology courses: Operating systems Word processing Network software Database applications Data sorting
I wanted to pursue computer engineering so I chose that because it's the most emerging and everlasting branch. The student ratio is about 70 people in one class. The faculty is good at the start and they go a little bit fast at the end. Some faculty are good at teaching and some are not so people. The curriculum is based on the official Gujarat technical university so they formally follow that curriculum. Exams were based on the official GTU dates and exams were taken accordingly. Most exams are easy to pass but difficult to score good marks in them.
When I got admitted in 2016, the fees for engineering program was 97000 per year, which to me seems quite fair. Coming to the question of transparency, the college does provide it and lets us know exactly what the costs are for. However, the current tuition fee being raised to over 1. 2 lacs per annum is quite expensive when it comes to the actual worth of the degree.
To be honest, the curriculum on paper seems legitimate and quite intensive, but the practical approach to solving problem may have been better given that IT is a practical driven field. Also, there are certain limitations when it comes to choositthe subject of your choice to study. However compared to quite a lot of colleges in the city, it is quite above the average mark.
I was inclined towards this course also it's kind of evergreen field 1:45. Faculty is quite experienced. Highest qualified PhD and M.Tech.
It has a feasible fee structure. Mode of payments are : cheque and cash. My program fees was around 75k per year. Yes, college does provide transparency in the fee breakdown. There are no additional fees that had to be paid in order to secure and admission.
Yes, the course curriculum and exam structure is relevant, research-driven and fair. I got to learn so many newer technologies which helped me in my professional life. It doesn't have so many on-campus placements but if you go for an off campus, you're surely gonna crack them. Yes, there were industrial visits organised for students.
It's a Gujarat Technological University so syllabus is as per the Gujarat Technological University. Mustafa Surati sir and Ketki Madam is too good in teaching as well as with students, they are very helpful and kind as well strict too sometimes. Actually all teachers are good in teaching but all are having different style of teaching so you have to understand, and yes some of them are not good in teaching I mean some teachers are feeling like students should know this think and they were not going to teach that and higher level of teaching, they don't understand that they should tell students some basics and important points related to subject topic that can help students that why they are studying this subject. They are only focusing on complete the syllabus only. Actually all teachers are good and helpful but you have to go and ask for help to teachers. If you have any doubt about any career related questions or any you have to talk with teachers. They are not going to ask what happened untill you don't share with them. And if you have any subject related doubt again you have meet subject teacher and ask your doubt and they will solve your problem. But the conclusion is you have to ask your doubts some teachers will solve some will ignore its up to you doubt.
Fee: 111000. College accept all payment methods like UPI, NetBanking, cheque. Cards and cash not accepted. Given the infrastructure and other aspects of college the fees are high compared to other colleges. Some colleges provide much better facilities and infrastructure at around same fees.
Course curriculum is outdated which is given by GTU. Nothing related to industry or research. 1 mid term exam, Practical exam and a final University exam is taken. Exams are very theory dominant. Exam style needs complete reform. They just want students to rote everything.
The fees structure of the college is bot costly. The fees during my graduation for 75000? per annum which is now almost 100000? per annum. The payment can be dome through cheque and Demand Draft only. There is nominal library fees and deposit which is refundable.
The course structure on most of the indian colleges in outdated but the faculty gave us the more practical knowledge keeping the books aside. The exams are more traditional theoritical. Practicals too are part of the exams but not as much of importance.
Fee structure is comparatively high according to me as there no level of placement which actually need students after graduation but according to study and experience it is manageable and the semester wise fees instalment should be paid and it is done online.
Course curriculum conducted on semester basis every six months end semester examination will be held. The tech fest and other curriculum activities are also going on eventually. Both plays very important role in making me better professional. I really enjoyed my college life.
Ya if you got good rank then no problem if you are average then you will get 50% back from gtu if you are having lower level knowledge about your field then you have to pay full fee it's obvious. there is not much fees as compare to this kind of colleges.
