Extracurricular Activities

The college has various activities. It has clubs for the extracurricular activities.The clubs are:

Essence- The club works for the personality development of the students and has been named “Essence”
Koshish- This club includes keen members to work for the under-privileged and help them to understand the nuances of life which indeed is a noble cause
Dynamos- Dynamos” the sports club has been set up to provide students having their strong footprints in sports
Kalakriti- Kalakriti” has been set up for the students to showcase their talents and skills
Techquest- The club activities include interesting games and many intellect aspects for the intellectual integrity and creative skills of the young engineers
Management-The Management club is an effective resource for student aspiring to be succesfull
Spunk- This is a club for those want to take part in several cultural activities

Facilities

Library

The library offers computerized catalogue search services through the OPAC.
The bibliographic record consisting of more than 31000 books in various disciplines.
The Library has been using advanced Library Software which offers issue, reserve and return service to its user. Users can get issued the required books by their self in the presence of counter staff.

Hostel:

Hostel has large, airy, spacious, well designed and lighted rooms.
Hostel is furnished with all basic facilities like mess, sports, air-conditioned gym,medical facilities.

Festivals

There are recent festivals which are held annually at SBIT-

Explorica- The 2-day festival is a blend of cultural, literary and sports events encapsulated with the creativity of the students and sponsored by some renowned brands. The fest had 300 students from 15 colleges across Delhi, Haryana and far beyond
Techaeon- It comprised of different Technical events with some Fun zone activities as well. Main aim of holding this event was to provide a platform for young engineering minds to participate and exhibit their talents in various technical events

It is a very good college including academics, extra curricular activities, faculty management, college atmosphere, proper food, canteen, labs, Mess food, hostel facilities, fee structure, exam structure, placements, job opportunities, College cleanliness etc. I learned a lot there like how to handle multiple works, how to present myself, how to interact with other people and many more things.
