The curriculum has recently been updated. And the labs are alright. My year has only had one trip for an industry visit. The syllabus focuses more on the practical side of biomedical engineering. It has relevant topics.

The syllabus gets revised every 3-4 years. I'm only in my second year so far but the industrial exposure has been good so far. The faculty is great and are always ready to help. They always solve all the doubts.

Since I'm a second year student i haven't been in much contact with any of my faculty in person. But as of now, on online platforms, every teacher is very kind and supportive abd helpful, and most importantly, very interactive. When i was in first year, we were taken to deenanath mangeshkar hospital, Pune to make us aware of how patients are trained after having a big surgery or any such accident. There they showed us various equipments used in this process etc. And our curriculum is updated as of 2020. Few subjects have been replaced in the current semester. Overall everything us great.

The curriculum at this college is a well-balanced blend of theory and practicality. It does not make us quite industry ready but fuels us with a great sense of the same.The Teachers of this college come in with great experience, pretty helpful, extremely knowledgeable with a nice teaching quality.

It provides all the facilities for the students which ensures a smooth process throughout the day. Also arranges one industrial visit every year for the students and also provides internship opportunities to gain nice amount of work experience.
Fee Structure And Facilities
College accepts fees in all formats dd (demand draft ), neft and net banking. There is complete transparency on the fee break-down the student will get the proper fee receipt and in that there is proper mention of the break down. There is no additional fees to be paid to secure admission.

To be honest as other colleges that come under mumbai university the college focuses more on the theoritical knowledge more than practical. So if you want to be top coder or best engineer you have to learn on your own. I am interested in biomed field and this is one of the few colleges offering this course in mumbai along with Dwarkadas Jivanlal Sanghvi (DJ Sanghvi) in Vile Parle and Vidyalankar Institute of Technology (VIT) in Wadala East. Thadomal Shahani engineering College in Bandra (TSEC) is one of the oldest private engineering colleges affiliated to Mumbai University and Biomedical Engineering is one of the oldest courses introduced in my college.
