Course syllabus was completely new and updated as per the guidelines issued by the Nagpur University. There were enough industrial visit throughout the year. Faculties were highly qualified and had good knowledge about their respective subjects
I choose Mechanical Engineering Course in the YCCE Nagpur because College has a face in central india because of Mechanical Engineering only. This branch provides Various Knowledge in the core sector and there are Industrial visits in each semester for upgrowth of your knowledge. There are very well experienced faculties having experience above 30+ years. There are 180 students studying in each year in Mechanical engineering. The ratio between boys and girls are 80:20.The faculties are well experienced and having qualifications in B.Tech, M.tech, PhD, MSC and Bsc.The teaching Method is very good students are provided more with Practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge. There are 3 mid...
Course curriculum is very much updated as per the recent changes in the stream. Providing case studies, practical exposure to enhance our skills. The faculty and staff are really helpful and always available for any query.
The college comes under nagpur University so the syllabus for the courses are structured by the university itself by keeping the changing demand of the Industries and expectations. The college provide us good industry exposure in terms of industry visit and internship. There are good experienced faculty who are always there for students.
They are quite experienced and have good teaching experience. also, they have been all over India for various programs and have good knowledge and experience. The course is well laid out and is easy to follow.
As per my future dreams, I selected this course. The faculties are highly educated and have experience of about 25-30 years. and almost all are having a master's degree. The ratio of students to teachers is 12:1. Teaching methods is good and practical knowledge is shared in each topic. End semester exams are held according to the academic calendar. Not only the exam but all the events are run according to the academic calendar. It's not so difficult to pass the exam. If you are attentive then it's easy and interesting to pass the exam. The rest overall course curriculum is good.
Yes we were provided industry exposure, but to get that you have to be in top ten percent of the whole batch otherwise even interaction with industry and alumni was very tough.
Fees structure was very expensive. Tution fees is about 1 lac and additional fees includes exam fees for every semester i.e 2300 per semester. There was development fees which was 10000 per year and registration fees for every year. Overall it qas very costly affairs.
Yes, it was relavant with industry. Fees structure was on heigherer side like it was 102000 for first year and for final year it was 134000. It is unaffordable for most of the students specifically open caste students. College helped me to get decent placement.
All programs have avg yearly fee is around 180000. The students take admission from Government quota has taken scholarship from the government. The exam fee is around 5000? and summer term exam fee is 10000? and additional 1300? for each subject. For students who are failed in one of the subject they must be give additional fee for particular subject. At starting you will get admission at only 13000? and additional fee is paid by students as per there coata.
The exam are conducted in semester pattern. It is 4 year course and there are 2 semester in each year. The exams are theory based as well as practical based. It is relevant, reasearch driven and fair. It test your knowledge that that you are learnt in whole semester.
Course syllabus was updated time to time but talking about industrial experience I belong to Electrical field and this particular branch need lot of industrial exposure and compared to that our college could manage to get internship from NPCL, Mahindra power plant and some more. I think college lags in industrial exposure and should be given more opportunities. Talking about faculties the 2 most favorite faculties are 1. Nagpure sir (for signals and systems and network analysis) 2. Gawande sir (for Power electronics and FACTS) I have seen them taking efforts in bringing difficult concepts to a students mind in a very relentless way. Thanks to both of them who made these subjects really inter...
