Acharya Narendra Dev College was set up in the year 1991 by Shri Chandra Shekhar, then Prime Minister of India. The college is located in Govindpuri, Kalkaji and works under the aegis of Government of India. Acharya Narendra Dev College is a Constituent College of the University of Delhi that is accredited Grade ‘A’ by NAAC with a substantial score 3.31 – one amongst the highest scorers in the University of Delhi. The College offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs in disciplines like Science, Computer, Commerce and Mathematics.

Acharya Narendra Dev College Undergraduate Admission

The college offers B.Sc. (Hons.) program in eight specializations viz., Biomedical Sciences, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Mathematics, Physics and Zoology, B.Sc. (Regular) program in two specializations -  Life Sciences and Physicals Science and B.Com. (Regular/ Hons.) at the Undergraduate level. Selection to the programs is done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

For B.Sc. (Hons.) a candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry/Computer Science, Mathematics and/or Biology as compulsory subjects.

For B.Com. (Hons.) candidates should have secured minimum 60% in 12th with Mathematics or Business Mathematics as mandatory subjects.

Acharya Narendra Dev College Postgraduate Admission

ANDC offers M.Sc. program in two specializations namely, Chemistry and Mathematics at the Postgraduate level. Applicant must have passed Graduation or equivalent with a minimum 50% marks with science subject from a recognized university or institute to be eligible to apply for M. Sc. degree program. Selection to this program will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The merit list shall be prepared on the basis of marks secured in the entrance test and qualifying examination.

Acharya Narendra Dev College Placement

The College has an active Career Counselling and Placement Cell that understands the career objectives of students keeping in mind the current trends in the corporate world. The scope of the Career Counselling and Placement Cell extends from coordinating job hiring activities to organizing interactive career counselling seminars. Many reputed companies such as HCL- BPO, Wipro, Genpact, IBM, HDFC Standard Life Insurance, Ernst and Young, Indigo Airlines, Advent Medical Technologies are tied-up with the Institute. The college provides all necessary infrastructural facilities required for the placement drive such as Seminar room for pre-placement talk, group discussion and interview; Lab equipped with computers enabled with Wi-fi internet connection.
