Every student is eligible for ?5000 monthly scholarship from DAE and ?20,000 stipend if he does summer internship. Since the fees is low, no one actually requires loan. Further many students are inspire or KVPY fellow.
The fees is very less. For a sem one needs to pay ?9800.00 only which includes tution fees, exams fees and hostel fees. One needs to pay for food separately on daily basis. All students get ?5000 scholarship which is close to what we spend monthly.
Hostel have all the basic amenities. Either one gets SOH (single bed) or DOH (double bed). The canteen is with every Hostel. We are also provided with high speed LAN in each room with no data limit. Overall I'll be eating it 8/10.

The whole institute is full of labs. And the labs are the best from what I have seen till now. In sports there are almost all the sports facilities which are generally present in any Institute ranging from chess, volleyball to cricket, football.

College organizes its own national entrance exam everyyear - NEST (NATIONAL ENTRANCE SCREENING TEST). Eligibility is class 12th with either PCM or PCB. But one need to have basic understanding of all the PCMB to clear the subjects cutoff for all the the topics, though merit list is based on only 3.
Nothing much as job placement. But one can work as junior scientist in BARC after an interview (no written exams). PhD offers are great here. Most of the students get PhD offers from prestige institutes from all over the world. One can do summer internship of around 2months every year.
One needs to study all PCMB in the first year. From 2nd year we can choose our major and can take some electives from other subjects every semester (which can give us minor). Total course is of 10 semesters and 240 credits.
