BIM Trichy offers full-time two years MBA program in various specializations namely Marketing, Finance, Systems, Operations, and Human Resource Management.
Eligibility: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline with 50% marks. Candidates in their final year can also apply for admission subject to completion of their degree with 50% marks. Students must appear in CAT (Common Admission Test) to be eligible for admission.

Eligible candidates should register themselves through an online application form available on the website of the Institute. They will also be required to submit an application fee of INR 1450 (INR 950 for SC/ST) through Netbanking or Demand Draft drawn in favor of ‘Bharathidasan Institute of Management’ payable at Tiruchirappalli.
The candidate will be shortlisted on the basis of CAT scores and performance in the interview conducted by the institute.

Ans. The institute usually releases the application form in the month of November every year which lasts up to January. Students having a bachelor’s degree with 50% marks and a valid score can apply for admission in MBA at BIM Trichy.

TAPMI offers CFA C-BOK and FRM certified curriculum and has a finance lab powered by 16 Bloomberg and 7 Reuters terminals. Students also get training with SBI- Staff Training College, Hyderabad, and BSE Training Institute, BSE Mumbai to acquire industry-relevant skills. BFSI was among the top sectors offering placement offers in the 2020 placement drive at the institute. 28% of students got recruited in the BFSI sector. KJ Somaiya Institute of Management has a location-wise benefit as the institute is situated in Mumbai- the financial hub of the nation. A small batch of 120. Decent reputation, especially in the South. 36 years young and has withstood the test of time. The college didn't advertise a lot unlike others and is very authentic. At my CAT score, this college seemed to be the best, given that I had already done my engineering down South.
The college management is not very active. There is a communication gap because few of the non teaching staff can only speak their native language which makes the student from outside the state difficult to communicate. Also proactiveness in taking decisions is missing.
Very good ROI when compared to other b-schools with decent placements
Back then, a few insensitive decisions threw the management in bad light. I really hope they must have mended their ways. Besides that, the management is really friendly and enabling. If you put behind the peer-pressure and peer-politics and strive hard you can take the best out of this institution.
The college gave me a good opportunity to focus on my efficiency to increase my innate ability to focus on developing my professionalism through overall business development process and the college infrastructure was very fascinating. I really love being a part of this college.

I feel there is a bit of internal politics. however they do not reflect upon the students. The faculty ensure that the students gain out of their teaching. They are easily approachable and friendly. Its more of a flat organisation where students need no appointments to meet anyone unless it the top most management. The infrastructure needs to improved. The currents facilities just meed our need and not our wants. There is value for money when it comes to academics, food and pleasant environment. But no value when it comes to infrastructure.
Time management is one real asset that I developed in these three months. Joining BIM has given me with an opportunity to meet people with varied backgrounds, get a good network of intellectual people and give a chance to learn Tamil. Much software that I learnt for problem solving has given me an edge over any other MBA graduate of first year in the country.
