The GITAM Center for Distance Learning (GITAM CDL), Vishakhapatnam was established in 2009. The college is known as one of the best distance learning colleges, affiliated to GITAM – Deemed to be University. It is recognized by the Distance Education Bureau (DEB), New Delhi and approved by the Joint Committee of UGC-AICTE-DEB.

GITAM CDL offers distance learning undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programs in the field of arts, science, and commerce in various streams. GITAM CDL admissions are based on marks obtained in the entrance test.

GITAM CDL offers a wide range of courses such as 2 undergraduate, 5 postgraduate, and 4 diploma courses.

Eligibility Criteria

• For Undergraduate courses, the candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination or equivalent conducted by the Board of Intermediate Examination of Andhra Pradesh or other examination board thereto recognized ITAM University and obtained merit marks.

• For Postgraduate courses, the candidate must have passed the bachelor degree from any university or equivalent recognized by GITAM University or a professional qualification such as CA/ICWA/ACS, etc.

• For UG and PG courses, the candidate should have appeared for GAT examination and obtained a rank.

• For PGDM and DESM, the candidate should be passed any degree or equivalent examination recognized by GITAM University.
