Fees -

Current fee for One Year MBA is around 18L, but you will easily get a loan from the banks. Plus you complete your MBA one year before your friends and start earning. So, its actually not that expensive. Because you will get a package around 12LPA and in one year you can repay some amount of your loan. In other colleges you have to give interest for 2 years for your loan.

Course Curriculum -

I choose Marketing as major, finance as my first minor and Analytics as my second minor. Institute has excellent faculty and research opportunities are tremendous. You can research in any field you are interested in and will get a great support and guidance from the faculty members as well.

Fees -

Fee structure is on par with other B schools I will say Though there are couple of colleges whose fees is very less than GLIM, but certainly there are outliers. In 2013-15, fees were around 13 Lakhs, which had to be paid in 2 instalments. 6.5L immediate, remaining during start of Year 2. The fees is inclusive of Hostel, food, books, course, etc. The addon expense will be the personal expense which one has to bear

Course Curriculum -

The course at Great Lakes is pretty rigorous, you always need to be on your toes to accomplish things on time. We were engrossed in studies, projects and other things from Day 1 of the college untill the last day when we left. There is a one-year empirical project which every student has to undertake wherein s/he does an indepth research one particular topic and publishes the results.

Fees -

During my times, the fees were 12 lacs for the 1-year fast track MBA program. It was fairly expensive during those days (2010). They had bank tie-ups to facilitate the process. Indian Bank being one of them, however, in my city (Navi Mumbai) where I enquired with their branch before going for that course, they had no idea about such alliance and I opted to go with HDFC independently which smoothened the process.

Course Curriculum -

It was excellent. Courses in marketing focussed on all aspects of marketing, right from basics to market research, psycho graphic analysis using hi-end softwares, negotiation skills, group theory, etc. There was a course called Karma Yoga wherein we were sent to villages surrounding our campus area to educate the poor kids on various things and in general to help them in whichever way we can.

A great option for fast track MBA.

Fees -

Probably the best part. In 2007/2008, we had a fee structure of about 6 Lacs + Boarding and lodging (we had to manage for the boarding and lodging ourselves). Things have dramatically improved. The college has a state of the art campus in the ECR region in Chennai with outstanding accommodation options.

Course Curriculum -

Great Lakes has signed memorandum of understand with several leading institutes across the globe (including Stuart school of Business, University of Missouri amongst others). The course curriculum essentially has two semesters with an internship in between. The first semester is a general coursework introducing the students to all streams of business (finance, marketing, operations, HR). There's an additional coursework on Philosophy which is a massive distinguishing point. Often overlooked in other institutes, this course forms a bulwark of business studies and is quite often the most loved course. The second semester moved into specialization wherein you had to choose your course electives...

Fees -

Fees is a bit on the higher side. I paid 16.7 lacs in 2015. The entire fees has to be paid in installments in a single month window before joining the college in March-April itself. The fees includes tuition charges, library charges, fooding and lodging charges, medical insurance, attire charges.

Course Curriculum -

Focus on Empirical based research is quite good and also the entire course curriculum is industry oriented in sync with the present industry demands.

In 2012 Great Lakes had a fee of Rs 13,00,000 and currently I hear is Rs 17,00,000. It is little expensive but the earn back option and growth is also tremendous in career as it is a one year program. Loan are available very easily.

Course Curriculum -

I was divided into 7 semesters in a year where first 3 semesters were general .For all irrespective of any specialization and last 4 semesters were subjects involving the specialization you chose along with the annual project.

Great experience at great lakes

Fees -

Fee structure is expensive. in 2011 it was about 12 lakhs. However all the expenses such as cost of books, food, hostel is included in this cost. Now i think the fees is increased in 18 lakhs per annum which still holds good as value for money.

Course Curriculum -

Course curriculum is similar to other colleges. Different electives are available for people pursuing different majors. you can major in marketing, finance, systems or operations.

Time Management

Fees -

The fee structure is on the higher side, but considering it one year program you have the luxury to save one year and start earning after one year itself.

Course Curriculum -

The course curriculum was very hectic. I opted for dual specialization marketing & analytics. The analytics had very limited options to bind it with the marketing subjects.

Fees -

Considering that we paid all inclusive 13 Lakhs for this one year course, I will rate it as feasible and a great investment in one's future. This fee included books, hostel charges, library charges, mess charges, tuition fees and transportation fees. This also includes blazer cost.

Course Curriculum -

College curriculum was very rigorous and exhaustive with equal focus on theory and practical application of the concepts. Even though it was one year course it subject coverage of the curriculum was equal or greater than the two years curriculum. We had labs for trade and finance, marketing management and operations management where we can simulate and apply the concepts learned.

Global Mindset Indian Roots.

Fees -

Comparing to the other institutes in general its expensive but among the premium institutes its a feasible one. But the fees all inclusive of food and hostel is increasing with every batch so one has to decide based on their capability whether its feasible or expensive.

Course Curriculum -

This college is unique within itself, 6 trimesters and approx 10 subjects each trimester, with the compulsory (basic) subjects been taught for 20 hours each trimester.Classes starts anywhere between morning 8 o'clock to 7:30 in the evening and can last upto 9:30PM. No holidays and a brilliant environment to study and peer engagement. Empirical Research is one of the key differentiator along with the uniquely designed Emerging market studies. And apart from that Mandarin learning classes are toppings on the core. Facilitated with world class faculty from around the world and different industries to share their experience with students.
