Ans. There are no sectorial cut off marks of XAT for admission into IIFM Bhopal. If the candidate holds a minimum percentile of 70-80% of the XAT entrance examination then he/she is able to get an interview call from IIFM. But there are also other management entrance scores that the IIFM Bhopal accepts such as CAT and GMAT scores. Admission process: The Indian Institute of Forestry Management offers PGDFM, PGDSM, and FPM. The admission into some programs is done on the basis of national level entrance score and some of the other courses admission is based on the performance of WAT and personal interview. Admission criteria for PGDM: The candidates are shortlisted on the basis of CAT/XAT or GMAT score and WAT performance. Only shortlisted candidates are called for an interview and on the basis of the performance of the interview, the admission is done if the candidate's name is displayed in the merit list. Admission criteria for FPM: The candidates who are eligible have to go through three stages such as screening test, presentation, and personal interview. If the candidate qualifies for any one of the following, he/she directly gets a call for a presentation and personal interview. CAT/XAT or GMAT score CSIR/UGC NET score (scorecard not older than 2 years) GATE score (scorecard not older than 2 years) ICAR (scorecard not older than 5 years) FRI score (not older than 2 years) Candidates passed with PGDFM or PGDSM with a minimum CGPA of 3.0. 3-5 of work experience with regards to forestry management. The final selection process is a presentation and personal interview. Best New IIM in the country with decent placements, average being 15.11 ctc and diverse students. Focussing on extra curriculars & academics both. Good companies do visit IIM-Ranchi. It is GREAT if you get placed in the first 12 to 15 companies. The college also offers the post graduate diploma in human resources.

The college has considerably reduced the percentile criteria for admission that has led to mediocrity. Also the college is losing it's niche by giving non sectoral subjects more importance than the niche related subjects. No student goes unnoticed in the campus and so the individuality of students remains preserved.

The infrastructure is really good, resources are plenty- one just needs to master the art of utilizing them properly. The only aspect where IIFM lacks is placement figs- not as good as an IIM or other Pvt colleges, but still a good ROI. Although the figures are improving every year, the Sustainability Management course students definitely have an edge over FM guys when it comes to packages.

The college campus is the best thing about the college. It is not a place to pursue management for those who want to jobs specific to marketing, HR or pure corporate. Although students passing from here also get into these sector but this is not for what IIFM is known for. It is much more beyond that. It believes in serving the society and nature for what it has given us.

      A roller coaster ride

      Admission -
      8.5 /10

The institution despite being an Indian institute has lost its sheen because of ignorance of the Central government. At current times, when the world is facing the serious issue of climate change and various externalities arising out of it, an IIFMite has a huge role to play and this can only happen when this is acknowledged by the center. The institution is goodThe gender just that the ignorance of some people has to lead to its false positioning in the market.
