Ques. How are the placements at IMED Pune for an MBA?

● Top Answer By Shayani Das on 21 Apr 21

Ans. My sister studied at IMED Pune in the 2017 batch and it was a good institute for MBA. She got placed with Amazon in the final year at a package of INR 12 LPA. In 2019, the college saw a 100% placement rate with the highest domestic package of INR 16 LPA and an average package of INR 7 LPA. More than 150 companies participate in the placement process at IMED Pune each year. It has one of the best placement rates for MBA in Pune when compared to other MBA institutions. In 2020, the average package offered was INR 6 LPA, and the highest package given was INR 12 LPA.  They offer excellent CRC support as well, which turns out to be very beneficial in preparing students for the corporate world. You'll be taught valuable lessons like financial modeling, and honing your aptitude, and grooming skills especially for the corporate world. Here's a table also for your consideration- Parameters IMED Pune 2019 placements Placement Rate 100% Average Salary INR 7 LPA Highest Salary (International) INR 54.08 LPA Highest Salary (domestic) INR 16.10 LPA Total Participation of Companies 150 As you may see, the placement rate has been 100% almost every year and in 2020, 239 students were placed with a .5 increase in the average package offered. The highest domestic package also saw an increase from INR 16.10 LPA to INR 18.10 LPA. However, the participation of companies was the same.Read more

Ques. Is imed pune is a good b school?

● Top Answer By Sridhar Pandey on 21 Apr 21

Ans. My cousin brother studies at the IMED Pune institute. It is an above-average place of study and the measurement criteria which is the CAT score is not required there for admission. Hence, only ranking remains as a parameter of quality. IMED Pune has a rank of #63 on the NIRF ranking scale for the year 2020. Here are some other parameters for a better judgement- Placements- For the year 2017, 2018, and 2019 over 250 students were placed each year on an average package of INR 17-29 LPA. In 2020, 239 students were placed with the highest international package of INR 54 LPA and the highest domestic package of INR 18 LPA. The average salary this year is INR 7.5 LPA. Education- the classes rely mostly on the expertise of guest lecturers which is almost below average. Many students have registered complaints regarding that as well. Infrastructure- The campus is a lush green space with spacious classes and other basic amenities for sports, dining, and studying. The library is good but only contains course-related material and has only a single book issue facility. The students are bright, hence competition is tough and expecting a complaint to be resolved soon is a bit difficult.  However, this college is good if you do not wish to struggle through the CAT or MAT exams for Admission into the MBA program.Read more

Ques. How is an MBA degree from Bharati Vidyapeeth Pune?

● Top Answer By Sandhya R on 20 Apr 21

Ans. Bhartiya Vidyapeeth is definitely a good college but it is known for its engineering and law degrees and not really for an MBA. So, if you are looking to study for an MBA in Pune, you should research other colleges. Some of the better colleges here are MITSOM, Balaji, SIBM, SCMHRD as well as PUMBA. However, if you are keen on going to Bhartiya Vidyapeeth only, the faculty is not that bad and the infrastructure is good too. You can enjoy different facilities with well-experienced faculty members that will ensure quality education.  Categories MBA at Bharati Vidyapeeth Pune Course Fee 4.50 lakh Placement Percentage 75% Highest CTC 8-10 LPA Average CTC 3-4 LPA Recruiting Companies Nestle, Wipro, Byju’s, Capgemini, etc. In order to qualify for eligibility, you will need to have a bachelor’s or master’s degree from any discipline with at least 50% marks from a recognized university. Overall, you should go to Bhartiya Vidyapeeth only if it is your final option. Otherwise, there are definitely better and more specialized MBA colleges you can apply to.Read more

Ques. Is IMED Pune good for an MBA?

● Top Answer By Karishma Khatri on 15 Sept 20

Ans. Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship Development offers MBA to applicants, however, it does not require students to take the CAT entrance examination in order to be eligible for the program, which could be a point of concern. While the institute does have a large lush green campus, a plus to attract a lot of students, here are some of the other points one could consider before applying for the MBA program offered here: Rankings: The institute ranks 11th in the top 50 B-Schools in India according to Chronicles of Career and Education. It stands at the 37th rank among the top 15 private MBA institutes in India according to Outlook Icare India MBA ranking. Eligibility: The institute offers MBAs in Event Management, General MBA, International Business as well as Hospitality Management. It charges a fee of INR 2.25 lakhs for the first year. Eligibility for all of these courses is a graduate with 50% or more in any field. SC and ST applicants may have a capping grade at 45%. Students are also required to submit BMAT scores as well as GDPI conducted by the university. Placements: IMED has a placement cell known as the Corporate Resource Centre responsible for offering job opportunities for students. About 150+ companies visit the university every year and it has an incredible record of 100% placements. Some of the top recruiters include ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra, Oracle, Amazon, Reliance Industries Ltd, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra. The average salary of most students clocks in at INR 7.5 lakhs per annum with the highest international package offered at INR 54.08 lakhs per annum. The highest domestic package is capped at INR 18 per annum. Facilities and Faculty: The college offers a library housing more than 64000 books as well as a computer center, hostel, and sports facilities like gyms. The faculty is highly experienced and educated with 90% of the members holding a Ph.D. with research publications in national and international journals. The institute is well on its way to becoming one of the best MBA colleges in the country. In case the applicant does not wish to appear for CAT and study MBA, they can consider applying here. Despite this, it is a splendid college to complete your MBA.Read more

Ques. Is Bharati Vidyapeeth (IMED) better or MIT for MCA in Pune?

● Top Answer By Muskan Sharma on 15 Sept 20

Ans. Both MIT as well as IMED are well-established institutes when it comes to provided quality MCA courses. However, it is essential to consider placements, faculty as well as fee structure when it comes to deciding where to take admission. Some important comparisons between a few points have been made below: Eligibility: MIT, Pune: Applicants must have a minimum of 50% aggregate in their graduate programs. This score comes down to 45% for reserve category students. Further, applicants must also obtain a valid score in MHCET for admission. IMED, Pune: Students must complete a 3 years bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or equivalent or have mathematics at the 10+2 level to be eligible. Students qualify for admission on the basis of the score obtained after appearing for the B-MAT exam held by the institute. Fees: Fee structures for two years of MCA at the two institutes have been mentioned below: MCA MIT, Pune, Two-year fees MCA IMED, Pune, Two-year fees INR 3,20,000 INR 2,66,700 Placements: MIT Pune: The university has about 92 companies recruiting students every year on campus. The highest package offered to students caps in at INR 13.25 lakhs per annum whereas the average package is of about INR 6 lakhs per annum. Some of the top recruiters visiting the instate include Microsoft, Honeywell, Wipro, Sunguard, Cognizant, and others. IMED Pune: The university has a dedicated placement cell aiding the placements of students as well as offering certificate courses in order to increase job opportunities. More than 150+ different companies visit the campus every year and recruit students annually. The highest international package offered to students caps at INR 53 lakhs per annum whereas the domestic package clocks in at INR 7 lakhs per annum. Most students have an average salary of INR 3 lakhs per annum. Some of the top recruiters at the institute are Wipro, Godrej, TCS, Kotak Mahindra, and ITC. Fee wise IMED Pune does charge less as compared to MIT. However, placement wise, IMED outshines MIT with a well-established placement cell. Students who are looking to get placed immediately after completing the degree should consider going to IMED.Read more

Pursuing MBA from a renowned and reputed college IMED was always one of my aims. Being part of this new phase of learning ie remote learning comes was a thing I never thought of. Got here admitted with some traditional process I.e 1st the college conducted an online exam virtually and the result got declared where I got selected and finally, with the formalities and criteria required, I got admitted to the college. The reason, why I choose this college over others, is that I had completed my graduation from the same university so had a clue about the culture and education here. So as the reason I stated I had a stint about the environment of this college so it was never a need to visit any

Imed is a very old college of Bharati vidyapeeth (deemed university). it provides quality knowledge in minimal education fees. the college emphasizes practical learning. The admission process goes like this that first of all, you have to register and apply for the institute and course you would like to pursue. after that, you have to attempt college own entrance test i.e bmat. after getting a good merit list you have to book your seat for admission councelling. imed ranks 2nd among private colleges in pune. for more details, you can visit imed.bharatividyapeeth.edu
