Admission to MBA and EMBA is based on merit in the qualifying examination, Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds conducted by the institute. Candidates applying to such PG courses are also required to qualify in CAT

SJMSOM, IIT Bombay saw the highest CTC reach 32.8 LPA with the median CTC rising to 21 lakhs like never before. Meanwhile, early this year, SJMSOM, IIT Bombay also concluded summer placements for the MBA Class of 2019-2021. 100% placements being the norm, the institute observed a phenomenal average stipend of 2.8 lakhs that projects 14% spike in average stipend since last year. 

Among all FMCG/ FMCD and Manufacturing sector dominated the placement with a staggering share of 15% where the top recruiters were Mondelez, Nestle, johnson & johnson, Piramal, Harman, Reliance Industries Britannia, P&G, Colgate-Palmolive. 

The E-Commerce sector remained the second-largest recruiter in 2020 placements with 18% share. The top recruiters of this share were Flipkart, eBay, Boehringer Ingelheim, Oyo Rooms.

The business school provides state-of-the-art infrastructural facilities to its students. Mentioned below are the details for the same:

  1. Library: It has a total of 6638 books, 337 audiovisual material, 514 theses and dissertation, and 55 MDP reports. Additionally, it also subscribes to online resources like Elsevier Science Direct, Emerald and ProQuest's ABI / INFORM, EBSCO, Euro monitor.
  2. Computer Labs: The Institute has 2 computer labs for management program students and a Ph.D. workspace for research scholars. All computing resources are connected to 100 Mbps LAN.
  3. Seminar Hall: The school has air-conditioned seminar halls with a seating capacity of 150 students. The hall is used for a variety of purposes like cultural activities, Convocation and weekend movies and live Cricket and Football action.
  4. Hostels: Well Equipped twin sharing rooms are provided to 1st ear students of SJMSOM, IIT Bombay. 2nd year students are provided single-bed rooms.

IIFT Kolkata ranked 31st in India 2019 and the only institute that has been consistently ranked among the top 10 B-Schools in the country.  SJMSOM ranked 11th in the management category in the NIRF Rankings 2020. Admission process:- IIFT Kolkata Minimum of 50% marks in a bachelor’s degree.  The cutoff required in the GMAT exam for this course is 115-118 out of 300. The total fees required is INR 7.6 LPA.  The total intake is 140. SJMSOM A graduation degree in any subject with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university.       Ans. In Maharashtra, there are many good colleges for chemical engineering other than VNIT Nagpur, Institute of Chemical Technology-Mumbai, and IIT-B. Some of them are - Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune; MIT World Peace University Pune; Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University Nagpur; and Vishwakarma Institute of Technology Pune. Rankings: According to NIRF 2020 rankings, the colleges were ranked as follows: Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Pune is ranked 98th out of 200 in India and 5th among colleges in Pune.         The college is good the faculties are willing to teach but the student section is very bad the do not even listen to students problems. Also the infrastructure of college is great. Fans in some of the classes are working and benches are comfortable. The college is excellent but they need to focus on management.

        About Gender ratio you can say much a different. Because as it is obvious in the college girls are too much less than the boys. And about the extra curricular there is siemens labs, robocon, NCC, RSS etc. Which is working also very progressively.

        Yes. Placement is very good in our college. You can say placement is the best of all the colleges of the Mumbai. In our department around 50 students were placed from my batch. There are companies like Reliance,L&T, Adani, torrent, GNFC, GSFC, Accenture etc companies who gives packages from 3 to 8 lacs/year.
