SCMHRD Pune Admissions

Eligible candidates seeking admission in MBA programs must register themselves for the SNAP test by visiting the website https://www.snaptest.org/. After registering for SNAP, candidates must choose the programs s/he is interested in. An application fee of INR 1750 will need to pay for registration through Net Banking or Demand Draft in favor of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.

Based on the SNAP score, the shortlisted candidates for Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Exercise and Personal Interaction (GEPI) process will be declared. Final admission will be based on rounds of Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interview (PI) & Written Ability Test (WAT).

SCMHRD Pune Scholarships

Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development offers scholarships only to the MBA students who are declared topper in the first semester. The scholarship covers 50% tuition fee waiver. Although, in order to continue the scholarship, the same student has to score a minimum GPA of 7.50. Apart from the SCMHRD scholarship, the other school of Symbiosis also grants scholarships.

Library: There is a rich collection of more than 24000 books, 2000 audio, and video files, international and national business periodicals. The institute has enough space and material for the students to sit and read topic of their choice.

Ans. SCMHRD is ranked 4th in state wise and city wise in 2020 by the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework whereas SIBM Banglore is ranked 23rd in Times of India’s entire B-school ranking. Admission: Admission at SCMHRD and SIBM Bangalore is based on the SNAP entrance test followed by GE, PI-WAT. The cutoff for Business Analytics at SCMHRD was 95 (SNAP) in 2019. The cutoff for MBA at SIBM Bangalore was 88 in 2019. Fees: The first year fee for MBA Business Analytics at SCMHRD is INR 9.4 lakhs. The first year fee for MBA at SIBM Bangalore is INR 8.2 lakhs. Scholarships: Scholarships at SCMHRD and SIBM Bangalore are offered only to students of MBA who top the first semester and to continue the scholarship, the same student has to score a minimum GPA of 7.50. Facilities: SCMHRD: Health center with specialized doctors, yoga center and gymnasium, hostels, a library with a huge collection of more than 2000 audio and video files, 24000 books, and periodicals are some of the facilities available at the institute. I had a dream of doing an MBA in the HR field. When it comes to HR, SCHMRD is one of the best colleges in India. The only thing that I didn't like about SCMHRD is that the college has no proper campus for its students. The admission process was very smooth. In fact, I can say, the best process that I have ever attended. The admission process starts in November and it lasts till March.

They make everyone feel included and help them in every step. They constantly boosted the confidence by being by your side during the admissions process. SCMHRD, having its own hostel and campus, makes it possible for the students to not worry about the lodging and boarding. The faculties are helpful and knowledgeable and are even part of the extracurricular activities.

The good aspect of college is the environment it provides for the students to study. 24*7 there is some of the activity going on which keeps on encouraging students to push their limits. Admission process involved qualifying for SNAP and then going through the GD process. After qualifying GD the candidate has to go through PI as well to finally get admission to this college. This college is famous for HR and I wanted to always specialise in HR so I choose this college. I just contacted my teachers and took their suggestion while selecting this college.

SCMHRD Pune has been ranked 5th Best Private B School in India by IIRF and has risen from 24th to 19th position overall in Business Today Rankings. The highest package offered in placements is 32.2 LPA (Domestic) and 58.0 LPA (International). The average package offered is 16.1 LPA and Median is 15 LPA. More details can be found on scmhrd.edu. The admission process includes SNAP admission test and then comprehensive GEPIWAT (Group Exercise Personal Interview and Written Aptitude Test) for shortlisted students based on percentile. SCMHRD Pune is one of the best options. I chose this because the batch strength is fair and not very high, which makes placements less competitive. Also, the ranking of the college has consistently been moving upwards.
