I choose this college because my friends were in that college and it was quite near to my place and it would be easy for me to travel so I choose this college and even I liked the environment of the college at first

    Placement -
    1 /10

There are no placements in our College and you can't even think of that in your dreams but for few formalities they do arrange a set of people to show that there is placements.

Overall the acedamically it's a good college, get to learn a lot of new things which are important in your corporate life. Plus you earn a degree as well which is quite handy. If you are a local resident, my suggestion is that you write a competitive exam like PGCET or a KMAT, get a good ranking and apply for a government category. If you have a reservation certificate like SC/ST or a 2B category, your fee would be even more lower than the usual

    My Oxford College Review

    Admission -

Admissions to the MBA program are granted on the basis of entrance tests like KMAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ CAT, etc. I applied to the college with my KMAT scores and other academic details. Then I waited for the merit list. Fortunately, the cut off wasn't that high during my batch, so that helped. Then I appeared for the counseling process. After this, I was granted admission. The entire administration was very supportive throughout the admission process.

    Placement -
    8 /10

Paypal, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, Concentrix, etc. are some of the companies which visit our campus on a regular basis. Our college maintains close tie-ups with different organizations and invites them for the campus placements. They also offer personality development and soft development programs, which also include mock interviews, etc. The packages offered are also pretty great as well. Apart from the placement assistance, placement cell also assists in the personality development of the students. Average packages were around 3 LPA.

My Journey with Oxford College of Business Management

    Admission -

I took the CMAT examination and based on my CMAT score I made an application for admission in this college. Interview and short round of test was conducted after qualifying that I was granted the admission in the PGPM program. I was looking to get into other B-Schools but since my CMAT score was not that much so I settled for this one, as it is also a very popular college in Bengaluru.

    Placement -
    8 /10

Placement rate of our college is good. Close to 80% of students from a batch get placed each year in the campus placement. Banks like HDFC, ICICI, and firms like HCL visit a college for campus placement. In case one wants to explore good opportunities outside then one can get placement on his own as well. Many of the seniors have got good placement then the campus placement offers on their own. In terms of the internship, the college has a student exchange program which is with the foreign university, however, if you want to do an internship in core areas then you have to manage on your own.

Quality should be taken care. They take almost everyone by which the name of the college doesn't come up as there is no quality among the students. If they take care about the quality then the name of the college will develop.

    MY COLLEGE EXPERIENCE WAS GOOD

    Placement -
    5 /10

I have not yet attended any of the placement scenario, so I cannot say much about the placements. I also do not know correctly about the percentage of students placed. There are various companies that come to our campus for interviews. There are around 40-50 companies that are welcomed. Some of them are Infosys, Wipro, TCS, HCL, HP, and so on. The average package can roughly be like Rs. 2.5 lakh per annum.

    Course Curriculum -

The Course I chose was good as per my expectations. There is a good focus given to practical learning in my college. There is about 70% focus given to practical learning of the complete syllabus of my course. Yes, they do take research initiatives to form the institute. No, we still do not have any elective subjects. But I can say they are available in the third year.
