I choose chemistry honors because I am extremely interested in chemistry specially organic. In hindu college all the faculty are so helpful and done his/her Ph.d. either from DU or IIT and their is two chemistry lab in my department each lab capacity is 45 -50 all the teachers all very good in their respective subject and takes his class regularly and one more thing I want to add my college principal is from chemistry department and she also takes the class . Teachers are very helpful .some teachers are very strict . And know September or October teachers takes internal exam (10+10+5) 10 for test 10 for assignment or presentation or 5 Mark's for attendance and then college provides stude...

          Fees -

In my opinion, I think the fees charged is feasible for a majority of people. But the administration should also consider students coming from deprived backgrounds. My course fees is Rs14500 approximately. The college accepts fees payment either by cash deposit or online payment. However the process of getting the fee receipt verified can be difficult due to the huge lines. There was one time fee required for online registration, moreover there are fees of around Rs700-800 charged every year by the department in order to carry out department activities. Other than that there are examination fees charged every semester to sit in the exams. Other than these fees there aren’t any amount charg...

I feel that my course is a bit difficult and the exam structure for some subjects was fair was directly applicable from the reading and the material taught, but on the other side some subjects like econometrics and intermediate microeconomics the exam of these subjects were really difficult and confusing. In my opinion my course was all theoretic and not practical. Sometimes the teachings were helpful in making us understand the world outside books but overall it was all book knowledge. Subjects like money and financial markets and financial eco were important and provided market based knowledge which would help us being professional. Few subjects made us indulge into research for required a...

          Fees -

Fee structure is about 20000-25000 per annum. its bearable and reasonable. It provides you so many facilities so fee is reasonable it depends on the courses if you are pursuing undergraduate course it is less than a post graduate course. Enjoy the journey with very less spending.

Course curriculum is totally relevant and useful in our real life. We didn't learn things only by books but we did a numbers of real life practicals, visits, seminar and so much. even I Learn so many inter disciplinary subjects. A numbers of extra curricular activities.

There are no unnecessary topics in our syllabus and it is completely upto date. The amount of exposure we got was more than enough. Seminars were organised in which internationally acclaimed chemists were invited. A huge event was organised focusing mainly on the periodic table as this year was declared as the international year of periodic table. Coming to the faculty, honestly i was not satisfied with the faculty and there way of teaching. Some teachers were too good(may be the best in the university) but some teachers are like the teachers who teach 5th class students. The vice principal and the principal are too good in teaching and the amount of knowledge they have is unbelievable (thou...

          Fees -

Although it has been hiked in recent times yet it is very much feasible. It is around 25000 per annum. Apart from these students need to pay 1220 rupees per semester as examination fees. There are no additional charges to be paid for securing admission because there is no management quota as such. Yes the college provides complete transparency in fee breakdown.

          Course Curriculum -
          9 /10

Course curriculum is highly updated and alligned with recent research and findings. Exams are very relevant, standardized and fair. However the curriculum is not much aligned with industry specifications. But this may be the case because it is an academic degree not a professional one.

The curriculum is highly versatile and diverse and provides great opportunity to enhance our concept of literature. It includes literature which might be extremely different yet uniquely important. Faculty is very supportive and cordial. The only problem is the marking system which mostly is unpredictable and sometimes not just.

          "Hindu College, a gem."

My college i.e. Hindu College is an esteemed institution which basically prevails to give out a good setback to students studying there. Pol science hons is one of the frenzy course been offered with top notch of DU fac. Admission process is on merit basis, how much you scored in your senior secondary certificate course the mote becomes chances of you getting to this institution. One bad part is that you won't be getting any hostels for the first year, also it's not a surety that you'd get it from the following years,so you ne prepare for the same. Overall it's a lovely college and a best faculty for the course of Pol science hons.

"HINDU - A place that has my heart"

I feel my college Hindu College which I am proud to call has stood upto more than my expectations. The college management is always helpful, they always treat students like their children and provide the necessary aid whenever required. Thr reason I’ve grown as a person is because of Hindu. I got to meet diverse personalities all across the nation and everyone here is so humble and caring. This has been my place away from home. My day started with the warm smiles our guard uncle gave while checking our id’s. This institution has provided me with numerous opportunities and challenged me to come out of my comfort zone and excel. It has provided me with friends whom I proudly cal family. Al...
