Hindu college is acknowledged as one of the premier & esteemed academic colleges in the country. It was founded in the year 1899 by Late Shri Krishan Dassji Gurwale (Nationalist struggler). In the beginning years, it was affiliated with Punjab University as there was no Delhi University at that time. Presently it is affiliated with Delhi University.
