Companies that have visited up until now are, Deloitte, Godrej and Boyce, Deshaw, and Wipro. The highest average package is 22000 apart from other incentives and perks. The percentage of students getting placed is very low but so is the percentage of students that apply.
Amrita college assures to give attention to all students by keeping the number of students in each class minimal. Placement opportunities are yet another attractive aspect of this college A number of well-known companies like McKinsey and Deloitte visit the campus for recruitment.
Many companies approach our college with placement opportunities. Famous companies like Deloitte, Infosys, TCS, SAP, etc. We have a placement cell known as the CIR (Corporate and Industry relations) department. Students become eligible for campus placement from the 4th semester onwards. The companies that approached our batch so far, for placements are Deloitte and Deshaw. The average package offered by the companies is usually 40K - 60K per month. Almost 65 - 90% of the students get placed every year. Plans after BBA - I am planning to get employed in any business field and gain experience of at least 2-3 years, then pursue my MBA.
I chose to attend Amrita School of Arts and Sciences because it offered BBA and the college was near my home. Amrita is also one of the top universities of India which made it my best option available. The admission process is done through merit. A person with a High School Diploma in any stream with 50% is eligible to apply for this college. The course which I study comes under Commerce and Management, which is a girls-only department, but there are other departments that are co-ed. I prefer this college over others as Amrita's certificate has a higher value compared to most of the colleges in Kerala. The college's official website (www.amrita.edu) was really helpful for me while I was applying for the college.
Students are eligible to take part in campus placements from the 5th semester. The college has an industrial relations department that prepares students for placement exams, GD and PIs. The companies that usually visit campus include, Deloitte, Wipro, Federal Bank, D E Shaw, Infosys, and many others. The positions are mainly that of junior associate or analyst in finance. The salary packages vary from 2.5 L to 6 L based on the company and the position offered. There aren't many placement opportunities for BBA students that are looking for a job related to their specialization (logistics). The percentage of students that get placed is small. I plan to attend campus placements that are open to me during the course.
Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, Kochi is a good college overall. The campus is small yet beautiful, the faculty consists mainly of knowledgeable and approachable people. The negative aspect would be that ASAS doesn't have clubs or teams for sports and extracurricular activities. The commerce and management courses are only open to female students. The rest of the departments admit both male and female students. There are a number of college fest organized by the various departments that everyone can take part in. ASAS was taking applications for admission in June while most of the colleges in Kochi had closed their admission process. The admission process was very simple and it took around 45 minutes to complete the entire procedure. ASAS has a unique BBA program that specializes in Logistics Management. I preferred this college since I found this program interesting.
Our college has a Integrated course and that option is not found in every colleges. I choosed Literature because this course gave a chance to explore deep into many literary works and how to approach a novel in a particular way rather than just reading.
Placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Conduct a very strict and useful method so that the students can participate more confidently.
I preferred an integrated Course, that too in Kerala. Everyone had a good openion about the course and the college. My cousin's have passed out from the same college. We have campus selection and the syllabus which which they followed seemed nice.
Many companies have been visited. Most of them look for 80% marks. Students do get a good placement training.

For mathematics course placements comes from Bank and different school for teaching purpose. still the placements for mathematics is very less. and only few get placed.
It is an Integrated program so I could complete my MSc also from there. The college have a silent atmosphere with lots of trees and plants giving a fine source of fresh air.Even though there is not much space many blocks were constructed in my college.I thought it would be better to join for an Integrated course rather than a degree course so I joined there.
Many students are placed each year after completing their graduation and post graduation. Our placement department functions very well and guides students well to attend the placement sessions. No famous startups by our alumni batches were heard.
I was in search of college that provides Integrated Msc course. I even tried for NISER and all. But couldn't achieve it. Before I lost my hope, I found about Amrita. This private university is quite famous and everyone has good opinion. Hence I joined the college
I'm not so aware of that right now. I have heard about the visits of Federal Bank, SAP labs and Wipro. We have some good Assistant Directors in the field.
The type of course I want was found in here and our college is fairy good in academics and campus selection. And location of college is not so far from my area. Also to get admission in Government colleges is not so easy as l don't belong to any reservations, yes it makes me irritated at that time.
Some of the company which visit our college is TCS, Wipro, SAP,Federal bank, South Indian bank etc.
