Kamla Nehru College for Women came into existence in the year 1965 by a team of founders who wished to contribute towards the development of women in the state. Initially known as Phagwara College for Women, Kamla Nehru College for Women has in excess of 2, 000 students on its rolls today and is dedicated towards creating women leaders of the future.
