Keshav Mahavidyalaya Recent Admission Alerts and Updates

Keshav Mahavidyalaya was established in 1994 as a constituent of Delhi University. The College is accredited by NAAC with Grade ‘A’ and has been ranked at #77 in India by NIRF in 2020. 

Keshav Mahavidyalaya has 12 academic departments that offer various UG, Diploma and Certificate courses in streams of Arts, Science and Commerce. Admissions are done via online mode based on the merit in the qualifying exam.

The college has an active placement cell which is attached to the centralized placement cell of Delhi University. In the year 2018-19, the highest package that was offered to students was INR 6.40 LPA and average package was INR 2.93 LPA.

Keshav Mahavidyalaya Admissions

The selection in all the courses is based on marks obtained in last qualifying exam. Candidates are allotted seats based on merit in qualifying examination. For UG level degree courses except BMS, admissions are done on the basis of merit in class XII examination. For BMS, admissions are done on the basis of merit in DU JAT entrance exam. 

How to Apply?

  • Candidate need to apply online at the official website of University of Delhi
  • Click ‘New Applicant Signup’ for new candidate registration
  • Candidates are required to enter valid e-mail and other relevant documents in the space provided
  • Fill all the basic details and upload the documents that are required
  • Pay fees online i.e. INR 250 for General category and INR 100 for reserved category
  • Finally submit the application before due date and take the print out of it for future reference

Keshav Mahavidyalaya Facilities

The College apart from imparting education emphasizes on overall student development as well. Frequent sports and cultural activities are conducted which witnesses high student participation. Other facilities on campus includes the following:

  • Library: The college has a fully automated library with over 24900 books, dailies, weeklies as well as periodicals. It also has access to 30000 e-journals as well as research articles too. CCTV cameras are there inside the library. 
  • Hostel: The campus has hostel accommodation available for girls with capacity of around 78 students. All basic facilities are available inside the hostel. Admissions to hostels are based on merit
  • Laboratories: There are full-fledged laboratories for learning including computer labs, physics lab and other subjects’ relevant labs
  • E-enabled classrooms: Keshav Mahavidyalaya has around 28 classrooms with facility of e-learning along with 6 big lecture theatres
  • Internet/Wi-Fi access: Students at the campus can access internet at speed of 100 mbps not inside classrooms only but within library, canteen, auditorium, and Amphitheatre. 
  • Other Facilities: ATM, garden, medical rooms, ramps, Amphitheatre, seminar hall, auditoriums, canteen and sports facilities.

Ques. Does one need to apply separately for BMS admissions at Keshav Mahavidyalaya?

Ans. No, one needs to apply on DU website for admissions to the particular academic year. Candidates need to register themselves once for any of the UG level courses. There are however separate fees for the entrance test along with application fee.

      This is an off-campus college. It has awesome activities besides academic works. Different cultural societies add special input to this college. I have chosen this college since it fulfilled all the requirements of the admission process for including merit. The college has a girls hostel which was the most important element for me choosing this college. The admission process was pretty easy. Since this college comes under Delhi University .the admission process was done through du official website through different cutoffs displayed on the website. The laboratory facilities are pretty decent. The sports facilities are very good.

      I love this college due to very neat , clean and beautiful campus and availability of facilities like lab equipment smart class and qualified professor. The bad this is that there is no direct metro route to this college u have to travel about 5 km after the nearest metro station. The lab is full AC and well furnished. The admission process in this college is merit based according to the 12th marks . First u have to apply for DU then after the cutoff release if u fall in the merit list then take your documents and report to the college that,s very simple.       The College was under Delhi university and also NAAC Accredited A grade. Also infrastructure of the campus was also amazing. It provided facility in every field whether for sports, open gym, societies, cultural events etc. Faculty was also good and supporting.
