Institute of Technology, Nirma University, formerly known as Nirma Institute of Technology, was established in 1995 by Nirma Education and Research Foundation (NERF). The institute is located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It is affiliated to Nirma University. The institute has been approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
The institute offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in engineering and technology. Admissions at Institute of Technology, Nirma University to these courses are conducted every year.
It was the first self-financed engineering college in Gujarat. The Institute has MoU’s with Mitsubishi Electrical India Pvt. Ltd., Dr. Fixit Institute of Structural Protection & Rehabilitation, Mumbai, Eco Carbon Pvt. Undergraduate Courses

B. Tech (Bachelor of Technology) It is a four-year full-time course. It is offered in the following specializations- Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Instrumentation and Control Engineering. Eligibility- The candidate should have passed 12^th standard from a recognized board. The candidate is required to have a valid score in JEE Mains.

Postgraduate Courses

M.Tech / By Research It is a two-year full-time course. M.Tech is offered in the following specializations- Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering. Eligibility- The candidate should have a B.Tech. Degree from a recognized university. The candidate should have a valid score in GATE.

MCA (Master in Computer Applications) It is a three-year full-time course. Eligibility- The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree from the University Of Gujarat State or any recognized examinations considered equivalent by the Nirma University.

The institute also provides Ph.D. programme in Engineering.
