VCE Hyderabad Admissions

At Vasavi College of Engineering, there is an “Admission Committee” who regulated the admission enrolments for the UG & PG level courses. The following are the admission criteria for the courses:

  • BE Admission: 70% of the seats of B.E. are allotted based on the candidate’s rank on TS-EAMCET. The remaining 30% of seats are fulfilled by the management quota. Admission to B.E. (Lateral) is based on candidate’s scores on TS-ECET
  • BE (Hons) Admission:  Admission to BE (Hons) is based on merit in BE programme.
  • ME Admission: 70% of the seats of M.E. are allotted based on the candidate’s scores on GATE/PGECET. The remaining 30% of seats are fulfilled on the basis of merit
  • MCA Admission: While for the MCA applications, a candidate must clear the TS-ICET Exam along with beholding a Bachelor's Degree. 70% of the seats of MCA are filled based on the candidate’s rank on TS-ICET. The remaining 30% of seats are fulfilled by Management

    The teaching faculty is very good as well as teaching. You will get a good placement irrespective of your group if you have a CGPA of above 7.0 and good communication skills. The study is on par with NIT. But less importance is given to sports and extra-curricular activities.

    Vasavi College of Engineering is one of most reputed collegs in Telangana. College is known for its placements. Faculty is good and the academic standards are good too. The admission process is simple there are four ways to get into Vasavi, one is through conviner quota(TS EAMCET), second one through JEE MAINS marks(B-category), thrid one is NRI quota, and the last is spot admission. Academically the college standards are excellent. But when it comes to extracurricular activities Vasavi is not the best. College doesn't have a good play ground. College management do not encourage students to play sports at all. It's the only con of the college, otherwise it's very good.

Comparing to any other Private Engineering Colleges in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Our college is well known for its consistent packages and placements. The average percent is around 98% in CSE. Infrastructure: As every college has Wifi facilities, our College to have it. Coming to labs, They are very clean and tidy.     The factors made me choose this college is it's placements for computer science and engineering branch. cse students have 97% placement rate with a min 1 offer letter to max of 5 offer letters. the other reason is it's ranking.
